Very bad food bad room old bathroom sink faucet needs renovation

I had a wonderful time an thanks for my birthday cake.

Everything was very expensive at the resort but the staff is very helpful and friendly. They make the best matcha at their coffee shop on site and also a nice latte. Restaurant was mediocre and I’d advise you to stay away from the lobster Mac. Tasted like a box brand to me. Other than that this place was very nice.

I celebrated my birthday there and they surprised me with a cake. I felt very special. The people there are so friendly. Lisa from the light house restaurant held my baby every time we ate there. My baby definitely made a friend lol

The view was unbelievably GORGEOUS!!!

Staff was super friendly. I mentioned it was my birthday and they had a cake waiting for me in the room when I got back. They always gave us new towels when requested. The hotel itself is beautiful! The beach is amazing!! I love how close it is to pebbles beach that I could walk over in the morning to see the horses. I would def recommend!

The staff were wonderful, every one of them. You can walk to the dive shop. Truly a beautiful resort. The only down side was the sliding door to our balcony was really hard to open.

This property has excellent mattresses and pillows which we always enjoy. The food is excellent, pools wonderful but the staff shines! From cleaners to food servers to bar tenders, they are always cordial and ready to serve!

The room was cleaned very well daily. The staff were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. Breakfast was superb with a good variety of dishes. Our room was facing Carlisle Bay and we looked forward to sitting on the balcony and enjoying the view.

Good hotel, would recommend

We arrived on a Wednesday and check in was fast, the front desk staff was friendly. The TikTok video set an expectation of rum punch being served very differently than the real experience, lol we were handed two little bottles of rum punch, but it was fine, just don’t want anyone to experience something different. The room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful ocean front view. I do not recommend Water Edge bar/restaurant by the pool, food was cold, service was not friendly we went twice, bad both times. Terrace buffet was wonderful, we wanted the outside experience but the hungry & curious birds took over, we went back inside to enjoy our meal and conversation. The Grille was wonderful great food and service. PLEASE ask for Dianna when you need transportation, she is amazing, very personable and knowledgeable of everything, she felt like family we wanted to stay more days just to spend time with her. Overall I loved the experience and if I’m ever in Barbados again I will stay at the Hilton Resort and will only use Dianna for our transportation.

As a Hilton Gold member i have eaten at many Hiltons for breakfast. I must say the Hilton Barbados has the worst breakfast i have ever experienced. The hot choices were cold and had no flavor. There was nothing for breakfast that was authentic to Barbados. Very limited buffet and no variety of fruits. The coffee was like colored water and also cold. No orange juice just blend of juice with no label. Absolutely unacceptable for a Hilton breakfast. As breakfast was free for me as a Gold member i found a place about 10 mins away that had a great breakfast.

I had the pleasure of spending a long weekend at the Hilton Resort in May 2026. The ocean views were amazing and the food at breakfast, lunch, and dinner was great. Very relaxing but with attentive, professional staff.

Hotel showing its age in spots and could use a few touch ups. Front desk tells you they pull amounts charged to room after 7 days. This isn’t true. They pull random amounts almost daily. Difficult to figure out what the charges are for and to monitor. Suggest pay as you go to keep track. Amounts will eventually disappear but it makes it confusing. Beware cost of convenience food in cafe. $15 USD for a larger bag of Lay’s potato chips. Breakfast good. Bar food good. Fine dining is not. Careenage bar food hit and miss. Suggest Champers and Buzo’s. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They make a huge difference as service is not always like that in some spots in Barbados.

On the positive side, the location is gorgeous, the staff very polite and friendly, the rooms and balconies good size, there is ample free parking, and the Cuppa Cafe "grab and go" was quite good. On the not-so-positive side, the furnishings are "tired" and could really use an update, the bathroom had no shower gel and the hand soap was not the best to use for bathing, the shower had no place to put your own items, the bath towels were dingy and rather worn, our passports in the room safe actually warped from the humidity in the room despite the air conditioning, and the two restaurants on the property were horrible with very small menu choices and not very good food. The Lighthouse Terrace was especially bad, the service was so slow it was unbelievable. It was not what we expected from a Hilton which is too bad because there is so much potential in such a beautiful setting.
