Everything was clean and the staff were nice. Rooms were on the smaller side with only single beds, but still comfortable. Only thing I really missed having was a mini fridge in the room.

We stayed for two nights to attend a concert and a Jays game in the city. The location is wonderful as almost everything is within walking distance and transportation is easily accessible. The hotel itself however is in need of upgrades and requires more attention to detail to make their guests stay more pleasant. We loved the historical aspect of the hotel and booked there for that reason, taking into consideration the age of the building we still expected updated amenities and overall upkeep and cleanliness which we felt it was lacking. The amount that downtown hotels charge, especially during the summer months, left us disappointed with our choice in hotel. Little details for example… our room did not feel overly clean, no mini fridge, no towel hooks outside of shower, no full length mirror, no seating besides the bed. It felt very bare minimum which was okay in the end as most of our time was spent away from the hotel anyway. Unfortunately we would not stay here again and can only recommend for it’s location.

The room was very small. And noisy… But it was clean and the staff were friendly. I would stay here again but I think I’m more accustomed to a larger room. And you have to park down the street

The building was in good shape, well maintained and very clean for a building that is over 110 years old.

The room was clean and exactly what we needed. Ratnesh was extremely helpful at the front desk.

Location was great...easy walking to Eaton centre, Rogers Centre, Union Station and much more. Staff very welcoming and polite. Breakfast was reasonable. Historic building shows some signs of age. Some renovations don't seem well done. Room and bathroom were quite small. Our one light seemed to gave a short in it as it went off on its own once and came on by itself at least twice. Bathroom shower door didn't close tight so water dripped through to the floor. Overall, the location and service was great and I would stay again if I just needed a place to sleep.

Hotel is right downtown, easy access to most venues.. Our room did not have a bar fridge. Parked in the Commerce court underground parking for $58 for the night, which was a 5 minute walk next to the hotel. Staff was friendly, checkin was easy.

Loved the history and architectural aspects left from the original structure. The staff, cleanliness and amenities were all wonderful. I will definitely stay here again.

The room is clean and comfortable. The place is easy to in the centre of the town. Staffs are friendly and helpful.

This isn't the best hotel, but it was adequate. Bathroom wasn't that clean and the tables were a little dusty.

This was a last-minute booking, we reserved the room the same day we stayed, so nothing was planned in advance. We had a very good experience. The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is very friendly. Although it's clear that it's an older property, it has been renovated and is well maintained. The only downside was the breakfast service. Breakfast was included with our rate, and while the coffee was excellent, the food took about 20 minutes to arrive. I drank my coffee so it wouldn't get cold, but my husband waited for the food and ended up drinking his coffee cold. The breakfast itself was good. The potatoes were a bit too heavily seasoned for my personal taste, but that's just a matter of preference. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Small room, sparsely furnished, modernized, but liitle charm either antique or modern.
