Room is clean and well equipped for tourists to have a pleasant stay there. Staffs are very nice and helpful. The town was quiet and beautiful. We also enjoyed some time in the Opera House. Will be back next time.

This is our second time to stay in this hotel for vacation. Highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good place to stay in Orillia. You can feel like a home once you step in this hotel. Good services with a reasonable price. Thanks again for the great efforts of the staffs in Stone Gate Inn. Thanks for giving us a wonderful March Break.

its a fantastic location for family gathering. The inn isn't very big but it is absolutely a great place for us with good breakfast and helpful staff.it is doubtless to stay in again.

Fantastic staff very professional. clean rooms. Manger went out of his to make sure we were satisfied. As one room not up to standard and no hassle az we had 3 room. The breakfast area clean well maintained. And they open up the hall for over flow. Recommend the stone gate for any one who want to stay in orrilla there is 3 spots for handy cap parking right at the front. There also fresh mart. Grocery story next door. Easy access from hay 12 anx hwy 11 to yhe stone gate

Good breakfast, clean room.

Had to wait for room to be ready. Wasn't told when it was ready so finally i asked about it and was told that yes it was ready but I hadn't been told. There was a change in person working front desk so it was lack of communication. When we went to our room we had to leave immediately as the food odour smell was so strong that we couldn't stay. Was told that they could clean the room again but am sure that the smell would still be there. Was told that people didn't cook in the rooms but obviously someone did. Finally got changed to another room but it wasn't ready yet so had to wait again. Have never had this kind of problem before but we were not impressed. Can't believe that the cleaning staff wouldn't know that the room smelt bad.

Great breakfast! Super friendly staff. Very reasonably priced. Gym and pool are dated. Room was spacious and comfortable.

Good value for reasonable rate. Staff friendly. Room could be a bit cleaner ie stains on chair, bathtub not really clean. Bed was comfortable. For a 1 nite stay it was fine for our event in orillia.

Room number was read aloud in the lobby by the hostess, who was also quite rude when paying for the room. No fan in the bathroom, holes in the ceiling, paid for room with a hot tub and had just a. Regular shower and tub.

Clean room, helpful staff, breakfast was good

The bed was very comfortable, check in was quick and easy. Only issue was the breakfast was not great. Others had stated it was the best hotel breakfast in town. It consisted of watery scrambled eggs and dry pastries. The coffee was good though. We would stay here again but perhaps skip the breakfast.

The Inn is conveniently located next door to a Foodland so meal and snack options are opened up for guests. The kitchen was clean, had working sink, microwave, mini-fridge, cups, plates and cutlery for two. The room had a Kerig coffee machine with four coffee pods, tea and sugar for two. Our machine produced a very weak cup of coffee. The room had a fireplace but no jet tub (as I had thought I booked). The breakfast area was bright with plenty of seating at the round tables. Coffee, tea an assortment of pastries, mini muffins, cold cereals and fruit was available buffet style. The only real disappointment with this Inn was the view. It doesn't have any property around it at all so the view is of the parking lot and street. Perhaps the reason they have a small indoor pool area on the main floor beside the breakfast area. Otherwise, the accommodations were very good and well worth another stay if back in the area.

Breakfast was limited to scrambled eggs, fruit, basic pastries and an assortment of breads/bagels to toast. No oatmeal, breakfast meat etc. coffee was great.
