Don't trust the photo from the web. It was not that nice. Our room had no hot water for shower, the pressure of water was insufficient. The window could not be closed and it gave us a sense that everything would be broken soon.

If you ever wonder why this hotel has such a poor review rating here’s why ,
They are in cahoots with Parking Eye so if you park your vehicle there be prepared to pay a £100 parking fine . It’s no use complaining, they say write an email to Britannia but you will never get a reply .

My room was never cleaned even after requesting as I left for the day. When I came back in the evening I requested cleaned sheet bui was told they couldn't be accessed.

The location is good in a nice area. The Britannia pub is very close and serves good food. The hotel is 10 mins walk from Primrose Hill - which is a lovely park near shops and restaurants. The hotel itself has friendly staff. The decor is very tired but the rooms are clean but basic. Good shower and comfortable beds. The beds are firm so if you like a soft mattress it’s not for you. I had a pleasant stay and the price was reasonable for the area.

Check in took a LONG time. The receptionist didn't smile at any point and wasn't particularly welcoming. Unfortunately the hotel wouldn't accept cash as payment for the booking. This should be made clear before the booking is confirmed. .
The room itself was fine with a clean bed and bathroom. Fairly quiet apart from traffic noise. Didn't use the restaurant.
Parking not good. VERY limited space (only 12 spaces) and mainly taken up by workmen's vans. You pay £20 per night but this only covers up until 9am when £3.50 an hour kicks in, not on check-out.
