Very impressed with the hospitality. Breakfast was cherry on top!

The restaurants were very good in quality of food. Breakfast was not bad. Clients kept touching the breads and other items and putting food back on the buffet and the staff said nothing to the customers even after we complained. There was one staff member, his name was Khrishna,(i think, but not too sure) from Varanasi, and he was exemplary in service and manner. He served us dinner the night before at the roof top restaurant and then the next morning we meet him helping out in the breakfast area. He was amazing.

Check-in was quick however having researched prior to booking I was expecting better service (no welcome drink was offered and nothing explained around how the club lounge operated or how the half board worked (I had to ask about this). Also we had booked the luxury suite for the stay yet no real perks included (ie welcome gift / fruits etc). No turndown service was provided and we had to remind the hotel around the extra book requested. Finally, we had an early tour start the next morning and so had to get an early night. This plan was wishful thinking as our wing of the hotel was hosting a wedding reception that night. The DJ certainly enjoyed his bass settings as we couldn’t sleep until the party ended 1am. Would recommend you do your research on alternatives before you consider your stay at Taj Agra.

Everything about this hotel was lovely. Especially the staff so welcoming and helpful.

Lovely, full-service, hotel. Service was the standout--definite vibe of caring for guests though occasionally over the top in repeated questions about our satisfaction. Room was nice, spacious, well appointed, with modern amenties. Restaurant buffet was robust and beautiful (cruise boat equivalent) appropriate for kids and most adult travelers but not high-end in case anyone is expecting that. Desserts were more miss then hit for some reason. Appreciated great concierge support, including Wilson for travel. Pool and pool bar were enjoyable. Gym was fine. Lovely stay. Great service. Good value

We had a fantastic time at the Taj Agra and the service was brilliant.

Don’t be misled by the comments — most of them seem driven by travel bookings, and guests are often asked to leave ratings. Apart from the rooms, the overall experience was disappointing. Breakfast service was poor — spoiled papaya was served, and even after informing the staff, the bowl wasn’t cleared. We also requested a hotel car, but they arranged a taxi instead, and the driver tried to overcharge us. Would recommend avoiding this place — there are plenty of better options available.

The restaurant in the second floor needs a major update. The chairs are very dirty. The carpets in our room was dirty as well. In general the hotel is semi clean, there are a lot of parts that you can tell they have not clean for a long time. Like the floors and doors in the elevators. Our room was very clean except for the carpet, but the staff is very nice and helpful.

Room was clean, staff was nice but food was very expensive.
