房間整潔度還行，沒有像其他評論寫的那麼誇張，只有浴缸的邊邊有一點小汙漬，但不影響使用，以每天三千塊的住宿費在英國來說很便宜。 早餐的選擇算豐富，培根、荷包蛋、烤麵包、煎蛋、薯餅等應有盡有，飲料方面有蘋果汁、柳橙汁、牛奶、咖啡包(沒有咖啡機)等。

Vi fik desværre et værelse i kælderen uden vindue, gang og værelse var meget indelukket, og der lugtede ikke rent, vi fik en “opgradering” som vi betalte for, og fik et værelse med vindue, personalet var søde og hjælpsomme, det er ikke deres skyld hotellet er slidt helt ned.

Terrible- Anyone that says otherwise could not of stayed at the same hotel. Terrible bar- dont go in there room no window! for the price that was insane. shower broken wadrobe broken plugs.....broken shower gel dispenser- empty iron- burnt my shirt staff at the front desk? lovely!

All good but I got an Old and noisy room

Hotel was ok. After running marathon was looking forward to food, no food is served on a Sunday in the hotel. Had a shower, shower gel container was empty and water temperature luke warm. Got ready for bed after shower, only to realise no toilet paper provided. Had to get dressed and go down from 5th floor to reception to get a toilet roll. Staff on reception were nice, but not hugely proactive or apologetic, even when I mentioned that shower gel in room was empty too. No power sockets at bed side table and bathroom paintwork not great, could really do with being upgraded. The room itself was a decent size and I slept fairly well, therefore just rating as “ok” overall.

The tv didnt work so we got another room, beind the dirty drapes there was dirt and spiderwebs, small bugs, lots of dust. The carpet was sticky, nasty to walk on without shoes, the beds are ok.

First, the welcome personnel was very rude. The lady at the front desk also serve the alcohol in the connected bar. Then, our room had “no window”. Had to pay an additional 40 pounds to had a room with window. The place was very dirty, the room we had on the fourth floor was terrible, it look like they have no cleaning personnel. Elevator was dirty, corridors and carpets were very dirty with trash on the floor everywhere. No cleaning in the room either. Then our last 2 nights, multiple room with underaged kids played in corridors making lots of noise starting super early with no supervision. This was one of the worst hotel we stayed in.

Positivt: Nært byen, bra med parkering. Negativt: Frokosten, bare en heis virket, en ganske sterkt lukt av reholdsmidler.

Good hotel but a bit for from the town

Going to give an honest review from what I experienced. The location is good for the price. It’s around $100 a night cheaper than other Hotels that’s a little closer to Old town/ New town. The Hotel is on the edge of Downtown It’s about 20 min walk with restaurant and beautiful 19th century buildings along the way. The Hotel has good and not so good things about it. That’s why it’s much cheaper than most of other hotels in the same area. The breakfast is good. Proper English breakfast buffet for only 12 pounds. The parking is only 7.50 pound a night. The Hotel needs decorating and renovating. The walls needs paint and needs new flooring in the corridors. The area had bits of small rubbish in hall ways and elevators that was never cleaned in the few days I was there. The room was very spacious with 65inch Tv. But, it was dated. The corners in the bath tub had mold in the sealants and most of any metal had rust areas. If the cleaning in the Hotel was supervised better it would make a big difference at the Hotel. In my opinion it was worth the Money, but I would gladly paid more if the Hotel was cleaner and had paint and flooring updated.

Nice hotel. Good breakfast

Perfect example of "you get what you pay for". The price is low, but the conditions of the amenities are poor. Probably the most outdated hotel I have been in a while.

This hotel is very nice and just a short walk from the famous Dean Village and Walk of Leith Waterway. The only caution is the front entrance is down the hill and through the car park. Our room did not have any windows yet the room had everything we needed for our one night stay (very spacious shower). The 13 bus is right outside and helped us clear that hill with our bags up to Princes Street. Very nice hotel, great location for quiet yet near the City Center.
