They all knew english.
Very elegant and clean
The only thing that was weird, which was more funny to us than anything was the back window opens to a central opening where a rear building of apartments shares windows to the same space as the hotel and your voice echoes to the apartments if you dont close your windows and the tenants get really mad and curse at you

Perfect location to take in barcalona, very close to la Rambla and the cathedral. Metro and buses within a 5 min walk. Hotel itself is well maintained, the rooms are perfect as a base for your trip, shower is fantastic and the staff are very professional. Dont overlook this hotel

Choose this hotel due to its proximity to the catalunya plaza where the aerobus from the airport stops. Room was small but clean and comfortable bed. Reception staff was very polite. In the same street it had a good cofee spot, delicious restaurant and ice cream shop which we all enjoyed. Walking distance to market and cathedral area. Overall very happy with our stay.

Overall, my stay was good. Reasons why I didn't give an excellent rating were the excessive heat in the room ( this was in Dec. 8-11) despite of the heat being turned off and after each shower, the floor got so wet from shower splashes due to half-open shower glass wall. The receptionist gave me a fan which made the room a little bit cooler due air being circulated. After each shower, I had to wipe off the floor ( and the floor mat was not big enough to absorb the water splashes ) for fear of slip and fall.

Hotel Nouvel is amazing! Single rooms are a bit small, but immaculately kept and the bed was comfortable wit fabulous pillows! Eduardo, Roberto and the entire staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
The location is very walkable and close to many places of interest while also being close to the Metro, buses and a taxi stand.
The only thing I would add is it would be nice to have a complimentary coffee in the morning…not breakfast, just coffee
Would I stay again??? ABSOLUTELY 😎👍
