[Day Tour] Arashiyama half-day tour (meet at Saga Torokko Station). Note: Different from JR Saga Arashiyama Station
•
[Note] Departure dates: March 10th, 26th, 28th, 29th; April 1st, 8th, 9th, 11th, 12th, 16th, 19th, 23rd. Due to the Arashiyama train departure schedule (Sagano No. 5/Saga Station departs at 11:02 am and arrives at Kameoka Station at 11:25 am), the meeting time will be changed to 10:50 am with departure at 10:55 am, postponing the entire itinerary by one hour

Meet inside Saga Torokko Station (meet at 9:50 am/depart at 9:55 am)
•
10:02 am: Ride Enjoy a picturesque journey aboard the Sagano Romantic Train through Arashiyama (25 minutes)
•
10:25 am Arrive at Kameoka Torokko Station and walk to the Kyobasha carriage location
•
10:35 am: Ride the carriage to the boarding location of the cruise
•
[Note] On 3/21, 3/27, and 5/9 the carriage service is closed and a shuttle bus will be arranged to reach the Hozu River Cruise boarding location. As the Kyoto Horse Carriage fee has been deducted from the tour fee, so no refunds will be given

11:00–11:30 am: Experience the breathtaking Hozugawa River Cruise through mesmerizing natural scenery (90–110 minutes)
•
[Note] The cruise duration varies depending on the river water level on the day (about 90 minutes on average, 60 minutes when the water level is high, and about 110 minutes when the water level is low)

12:30 pm–1:30 pm: Tour ends at Togetsukyo Bridge
•
[Note] The above time is for reference only. The activity time will vary depending on the water level and conditions on the day. If you have any follow-up itinerary, please pay attention to the end time of the event and it is recommended to reserve more time

Meet at JR Kameoka Station (meet at 1:00 pm/depart at 1:10 pm)

1:30–2:00 pm: Embark on a scenic Hozugawa River cruise through breathtaking natural beauty (90–110 minutes)

3:00–4:00 pm: Tour ends at Togetsukyo Bridge

We were glad we booked this tour. It’s easier to navigate around and the tickets are settled by the tour guide. she tried her best to communicate with us in English. The boat ride was relaxing that we almost feel sleepy and love to be around nature.
