Noisy in the night.

Too noisy. The bar operates until 5am. Almost you cannot sleep for the whole night.

Everything is good

Location is great and there're lot of good restaurant choices around as well as easy to access difference kind of transportations, shops & spots

Actually, I think that the location of this hotel is good, as it is located on Queen Street, and there is free tram nearby. The free tram can even take you to the sky bus station. It is just 2-3 stops away from the sky bus station. Therefore, it is good! However, apart from the location, the facilities are not really that high-tech. All the things are old. But luckily, those things can be used, so still fine! Also, I would like to say the electricity sockets are too limited, it's hard to find one, and I would like to have some USB sockets, there are none of them! So put more, please. But so far, it is not a really bad hotel!

Do not check in during weekend or public holiday!! The sound proofing of this hotel is extremely poor!! U can hardly fall in sleep as there is a club down in 2/F. The hotel will only provide you with a earplug and a regard that does not help at all

We booked the room for Dec 25 to 30 with free breakfast, but the hotel informed us the breakfast was handled by a nearby cafe while checkin-in, the cafe wasn't open during the 5-day period that I stayed, I was the one to tell the hotel staff that it was not open. Only breakfast boxes were offered from Dec 26 and onwards but the packed food and drink inside was not acceptable and far below our expectation. The hotel room was very noisy due to several night parties of the disco/ club just next to the hotel building, not understanding why the hotel did nothing to make the room more soundproof. The free wi-fi cannot be connected from time to time. It should be enhanced.

Super friendly and helpful staff, and the room was relatively large with big windows. The place is a little run down and the bath and toilet were both damaged cosmetically. The walls between the rooms a very thin and so my incredibly shout neighbour kept my awake on one of the nights. I had a word with reception and they were quieter the following night.

Room was very good but you need to be able to put up with sound eminating from night club above and adjoining rooms. Didn't get much sleep between night club & very noisy guests in adjoining rooms. Could do with better sound deadening.

This review is about something far more serious: a fundamental failure in honesty and basic duty of care to paying guests. We had two rooms booked — one for my wife and I, one for our two adult children. Four people, two separate rooms, both equally affected. The hotel runs a ground-floor nightclub until 4am. We were on the 6th floor. It made no difference whatsoever. The bass and music were relentless and made sleep impossible across both rooms. The booking mentions 'possible noise from a nearby venue.' It does not disclose that the nightclub is inside the building itself, at a volume that penetrates every floor regardless of how high up you are. Let's also be honest about what 4am actually means for a guest. It means two hours of broken sleep before morning arrives. Two hours is not rest — it takes a real and cumulative toll on four people trying to function throughout the following day. On check-in, staff proactively offered to move us if the noise was too loud. On the second night — louder than the first — I called to take them up on it. Nothing was available. The solution offered was a small packet of earplugs, which do nothing for bass-level sound reverberating through six floors. I was then told, with a dismissive tone, that no one else in a fully booked hotel had complained — as though that somehow made our experience less valid.

The hotel will claim they make sure people know about elevated noise levels on weekends but they don't. The first I knew was when they handed me earplugs along with my key card when I checked in. The club on the 1st floor is insanely loud. Earplugs are useless - you can feel the vibrations through the bed. And the ridiculous volume continued through to 5am. It shouldn't be legal to charge people for rooms against that kind of disturbance.

Good location. Friendly, helpful staff. Easy parking. Dated furniture and fixtures but very clean.

Great location, great service.

It is in a prime location and the staff were kind and curteous. I think there is discrepency in the location discription that it's not one night club but two and the operation hours aren't clearly advertised but not technically the hotels fault. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and even without the noise I kept waking up due to dicomfort. The walls were covered in scuff marks but otherwise the room was clean. The main issues were the lack of air circulation in the room and the vent in the bathroom was clogged with lint. The air conditioning could circulate some air but it was very stale. Alright place to stay for the price but I do think more than anything they need to sort out some better air circulation.
