ibis Styles Canberra

本來是一個非常愉快的旅程，我們住在地下的房間兩晚。我出門前掛上了一張告示牌說可以清潔。歸來後發現完全沒有收拾房間。入住時服務員說是每天清潔房間的。最氣憤是第二天早上八時半，有人大力打我們的房門，已經給她弄醒了。九時半又再大力打我們的門，我開門見到一個清潔女工，她對我說： When did you leave?真被她激死了，把我活生生弄醒就是為了她的工作，我又沒有吩咐morning call！房間是有電話的，如果counter要叫醒我們可以打電話給我們，不用清潔姐姐來弄醒我們吧！這間酒店應該跟進一下這樣的服務態度。

Clean beds. Breakfast was good. Tho where we got there was no car parking at all

ROOM 609: Upstairs one level - no lifts. Difficult for over 75yo with mobility issues. Advised by Reception they could NOT enter my stay here onto my ACCOR Rewards account! This accommodation is NOT 4-star - maybe 3-star. no desk lamp no phone to contact reception no hairdryer no power points next to beds no bed lamp for bed #2 no spoons for tea/coffee no extra/spare pillows no room safe bad draft under entry door (had to block with ironing board) no room number signage on the building exteriors no on-site parking available at 9:30pm no hot water at 9:40am, so only warm shower breakfast - uninspiring but acceptable housekeeping - no issues generally run-down and in need of maintenance

The room we stayed had an old LED TV with two remotes which took a while to workout how to turn on. Same issue with our neighbor as well except they had smart TV. Definitely need upgrade on their TVs. Tap in bathroom sink had high pressure and sprayed on the clothes every time you turned it on. Most rooms are smaller in size (family). Cleanliness of room is good. Okay for families with kids during winter.

Breakfast was good and staff are polite and accommodating.

Mould in the shower. Hallways were in need of a vacuum. But rest of room was clean. Needed to ask for entry to the gym so never used it. Was told to park in front of building we were located in by staff at check in but there wasn't enough at all. Ended up having to park in the back lot and was barely able to get a spot out there. If we'd been much later back we might not have gotten a spot. Partner got breakfast in the morning and said it was good. Only 2 PowerPoints and both far from bed. Had to l but an extension cord for partners CPAP machine.

Clean room, very friendly staff. Chairs at the bar were comfortable. Nice to sit for happy hour and talk. Good food, very convenient location.

Stayed at Ibis budget Canberra 2 years ago, the bathroom was full of mould. The acor corporate claimed it was the budget part. So we stayed at Ibis Styles Canberra this time. But mouldy bathrooms seem to be the Ibis theme. On the top the Ibis styles did not even bother to refill soap bottles or paper tissues. Figured to use the shampoo bottle as it had the same liquid in as the handsoap on the sink. No complimentary coffee/tea/sugar, unlike much cheaper hotels and motels we stayed in along the way. Stayed at 7 places within 2 weeks, this one was the worst.

A rundown property with no heater in the bedroom. Not a great experience for kids especially during peak winter. The door access lock was not maintained properly and we got locked out of the property and the staff had to get an engineer to open the door lock. Overall a poor experience.

Room much more run down than expected. Walls very thin, very noisy.

Some years since we last stayed here, and we were disappointed in the lower standard of meals - especially the buffet breakfast.

Room was clean enough. The reception was helpful.

Enjoyed my stay, parking at night was a bit of a problem.

Room smelt musty, carpets looked dirty and as old as the hills. Kitchen poorly equipped and very poorly laid out making it difficult to work with. Fridge was on a massive lean and needed throwing out. We had a 2 bed apartment and our daughters single bed had only a thin sheet directly over the old mattress. Spare pillow didn't have a pillow case making it unusable.

Staff were very helpful

staffs are super nice, but facilities are old and smelly.
