Hotel ok, but the room in the 10th floor was very noise as the window glas is not noise cancelling. The rooftop bar is great.

The location was amazing and the room was good. The check-in stood out as it was extremely inefficient. The process was extremely slow and we waited in line for about 30-40 minutes when there were probably 10 guests ahead of us and 4 people working the check-in desks. Other than that the pool and rooftop were amazing and the staff was very kind and helpful.

Filas para check in e check out, apenas uma Pessoa para fazer check in e check out em um hotel de 30 andares. Faltou organização à gerência. O horário de check in 15:00 é outro ponto negativo.

O hotel é muito bom com boa infra, mas é muito grande e muito lotado e daí a estrutura nao suporta. Poucas pessoas na recepção, filas mt grandes no cafe da manhã e mt tempo perdido nos elevadores devido a lotação.

Great location and partial beach view in my room. Rooms are dated. Good breakfast.

Th view, the staff, the location.. everything was perfect! Oh and the gym?! As a person who works out, this was a plus, loved how the gym had options when it came to machines and gear. I will definitely come back and stay here again.

Poca calidad del cafe. Habitación q daba a una pared. Mucho ruido del aire acondicionado. Mucha gente. No habia lugar en la piscina, ni sillas reooseras. En la playa pasaba lo mismo. Largas esperas para cobseguir reposera y sombrillas. Demasiada gente. No volvere en esta eopca del año

El personal muy amable pero ya es un hotel viejo. En la habitación apareció una cucaracha y fue desagradable. El desayuno es el mismo todos los días no cambian nada y termina fastidiando deberían de variarle. Tiene buena ubicación

The staff was amazing, the breakfast buffet was delicious. Great location and super recommend it.

For the price I was expecting to find the property in better conditions. It was still pretty good, but a few items could have been better, like the air conditioning wasn’t turning down or up, it was always the same intensity. We also had a couple of issues with the safe, bit these were taken care by maintenance. The location of the hotel is a big plus, close to mane great local restaurants. Staff was great during the whole stay. The views from the room and the roof top is amazing.

Above and beyond

We had luxury room with sea view on 23rd floor and the view was truly magnificient. Room was a bit outdated, but the hotel is under renovation. Rio Othon Palace is the highest building on Copacabana and the view from the rooftop is amazing. Sunbeds and the pool were spot on. I assume it was due to the renovation that we had quite private breakfast on the 30th floor as luxury room guests - I loved the peaceful atmosphere there and the views - again. And it was also a bonus to have a special check-in and check-out in a separate lobby lounge. Hotel guests have access to beach chairs and umbrellas near the hotel. There was a nice beach restaurant also. If I ever return to Rio de Janeiro, I will definately choose Rio Othon Palace again.

Very large property, close to everything

Everything about this hotel was fantastic and exceeded my expectations. Perfect location. Excellent amenities. Gorgeous pool, views and spacious rooms. Easy access to beach and beach amenities. Friendly staff, easy access for Ubers/taxis. Noon check-out with luggage storage and continued access to beach/pool/spa. Highly recommend and wish I’d been staying more than only two nights!!!
