Only one bad point: next to train rail, noisy when train pass by. Do not book this from expedia. I found that it is a discounted offer with no ensure car park lots and a next to road side room after i booked from expedia. Lucky that basecamp can arrange a parking lot for me and next time i will book them directly from their website. Expedia didn't tell me it is a "Please note that this unit has been discounted, as it does not have a guaranteed parking stall and is situated next to the stairs and close to the shared hot tub so can be noisier than other room types.".

The room was new and beautiful ! We loved the big fully equipped kitchen and cozy bedroom, too. Staff there were very nice and helpful . Everything was great except the railroad was super close by . Very challenge for sleeping .

We enjoyed our stay mostly due to the location as it conveniently located close to good restaurants & right off the highway after exploring all Banff & Canmore has to offer. Some criticism- room is not soundproof. You heard all your neighbours. Cheap products- toilet paper, paper towel, kitchen utensils(no frying pans only pot set), sheets & pillows were all low quality. Housekeeping didn’t knock just barged into room. We kept our do not disturb on for the rest of our stay.

Micro suite perfect for two people to stay. Super cute and clean. Easy to access with convient parking. Excellent customer service. The soap provided was a local natural company that was incredible. Unscented linens much appreciated. The bicycles out front are apparently only for Basecamp lodge customers unfortunately. Overall would recommend as a quaint convient place to stay.
