Everything looks good.

Great central location with walking paths all around. I would still recommend having a rental car to get around. Room was clean and a good size for a family of 4. Room was equipped with kitchen and full size fridge and stove. Parking was in back and somewhat tight also had to contend with Bagel shop next door and coming back to find a car parked in your "reserved" spot.

Very well equipped. We enjoyed the fact we could cook and do laundry. The self check-in and check out is a bonus. Very clean and comfortable!

We love the place

Nice place? Roomy and clean. Comfy beds. The only con is that the railway is beside the building. The trains pass by every 1,5 hour. If you have a light sleep you better use ear plugs

Nicely located in Canmore with easy walk or drive access to food and other stores. 5 minute drive from DT and lots of amazing views in every direction. Train passes by quite often even through the night but ear plugs were supplied… we weren’t bothered but at all tbh. Each unit has its own parking spot and the place is set up in a nice street-esq style with tables and chairs out front of each unit. Kitchen makes it easy to reheat takeout leftovers or buy food from the grocery and cook yourself. Kitchen was clean and we were comfortable using their utterly and dishes. It was a nice place, could see it being popular for ski season for sure. Big area to air out your gear in the living room.

There was no introduction to use sofa bed in hotels.com and this hotel. So, we were confused about why we didn’t have two beds. Except this and noise from trains, this place was good. One thing I would like to tell you is the Chinese guy was smoking in front of the non-smoking sign.

The good: The room itself was nice and the bed was comfortable. Having a kitchen in the room is always nice. The view from the bedroom window was gorgeous! Rocky Mountain Bagel is 20 steps away. The not so good: I was travelling with my dogs and booked a dog friendly room, the problem was that the room assigned to me was at the end and there was a lot of noisy foot traffic because of that. My dogs are quiet, but it's only natural for them to alert when they hear people outside the window constantly. Perhaps the "dog friendly" rooms should be in the middle so that there isn't as much traffic. The train tracks are on the other side of the small parking lot, and when the train goes by, it is SO loud. Judging by the cannister of earplugs in the bathroom, I am not the first person to have found this to be an issue. There was a persistent knocking/clicking noise coming from the furnace ducts as well. I had been travelling for over a week, so I had quite a bit of luggage. The parking spot that was assigned to my room was on the opposite side of the property, and there was nowhere to park near my room when I was checking in and out... it was a process. Last, but not least, the coffee was horrible, and after a night of trying to keep the dogs quiet, I needed the it. Thank Heavens Rocky Mountain Bagel is so close. Ultimately, with the number of great hotels in Canmore, I likely wouldn't stay at this one again.

Great for a family or group of friends. Spacious with nice big kitchen and living space.

Love this place. Super clean and friendly staff. We got laundry machine in unit so it’s very convenient and easier for us to pack our stuff here. Not much toiletries provided (only soap, shampoo, condition and hair dryer provided). If they have safe box, that would be amazing! Hot tub has such amazing view! Btw room is so warm and not too loud

The space for my family of five was great. It was a short walk to town. Kitchen and living space was equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

Hot tub wasn’t working. We were directed to a different property to use hot tub which is 5 mins drive. The hot tub in that property was dirty, and no body was there to provide towels, or assist. We had to remove the hot tub cover by ourselves. There is no changing room or shower room in that hot tub. With failure of hot tub, the property was not worth the price we paid.

We really enjoyed our time at Basecamp. The accommodations worked well having 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a fully stocked kitchen. The bbqs outside were great and the location was in close proximity to groceries and coffee. The train was unexpectedly loud at night and because the ac wasn’t installed yet, it made it tough at nights. Even with windows closed. Basecamp supplies earplugs but if you have noise cancelling I would suggest bringing them or requesting a room at the road side. Overall I think the pricing of the room was totally fair. Staff was so friendly! Thank you to everyone!
