Nice family stay with pool and waterslide Clean but showing it's age for sure.

The pool and water slide were great and the kids loved it. The hotel in itself is run down a bit but the rooms were good and spacious and what we needed for our one night stay.

A nice place to stay shortly. The staff members are very friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel. .

The room was clean, beds and pillows were super comfy. Staff were all super friendly. The breakfast was simple, but delicious and still satisfying. The pool was fun, but was on the chilly side. Our only complaint was that as we were in a room with a loft, the A/C couldn't reach up to the other bed and it was quite warm up there. But by no means would this stop up from staying there again. A separate shout out to the restaurant that's on site. It is SO good. Highly recommend eating there.

pool was under maintenance

We stayed here for our family vacation. We were sold on the pool photos. The room had a great layout as we were up in the loft King bed and the kids were down in the main area. They had a clean pack and play for our baby. I did find hairs on the floor from when my baby was crawling around which I didn't love. However, the pool was amazing and our kids had a blast there. We were also surprised about the arcade as I was not expecting that. The restaurant attached to the hotel is surprisingly delicious and we enjoyed eating there a few times. The staff was very friendly and very helpful whenever we needed something. We would come here again.

It was nice to get a hot tub in a cold and rainy day.

While I could go on about how clean, comfortable and beautiful the hotel and grounds are, the real stars are the staff. Every single employee, from the front desk to the kitchen staff to the housekeepers were constantly seeking ways to better our stay. Everyone is beyond kind and helpful. This was a second stay for us and we were again so impressed. I said it in my last review, but worth mentioning again....the sheets are AMAZING!!! I can not wait for our next visit this Fall.

The waterslide was amazing!

Loft style bedrooms made for a unique stay. The balcony had a great view of the mountains which made the experience even better. Pool and hot tub were 10/10

Pool was great for finishing our trip to Banff/Hot springs

The staff was not friendly at all. If a guest had any requirement the staff said I cannot do anything about it. The elevator was never operational, during the span of my stay, and they did not offer any help taking my luggage upstairs to my room. The breakfast was awful and always out of items. The air condition unit was very noisy. The staff would come and make comments on the clothing of our ladies when they were sitting in the hot tub, dressed in proper suites, designed and manufactured for swimming pool and hot tub. After this we had to tell the staff that this not the way to talk to a guest. The even number rooms are very noisy from the highway traffic and guest cannot sleep the whole night but count vehicles passing by on the highway. When I requested a room change, again the answer was we cannot do anything about this, and I was advised to talk to expedia instead. Very awful stay, I will suggest to people going to fernie, to look for any other hotel, but stay away from this one, The Fernie Stanford Resort Hotel.

Good

Very quiet and god sleep, thought this might not be the case with the amount of vehicles, but it was. Staff here was excellent - accommodating with a request for late checkout, and helping us out with a special request. Think the fellow at the front desks name is Sandy, great service

Air conditioning works great however the vent blows directly onto the person on the bed bedside it. There was no way to redirect the air so was quite annoying at night. Got creative and put our suitcase on the suitcase stand between the bed and the a/c, then propped the lid up so the air would go up and over.

Nice stay, restaurant had very good food.

Room was comfortable and amenities were good Nice bar and restaurant large windows to see views of mountains and river. Only downside is the proximity to the main Hwy 3 close for accessibility but a little noisy. All in all pretty good place to stay.
