We got the jacuzzi sweet. Room was clean as always. Staff is nice. The pool and slide are the main attraction for the kids and adults. Worth a stop if you like to slide. It's a really fast slide. So much fun.

Easy check in/ out, beautiful room, very clean and dust free. Soft pillows and fresh smelling bedding. Exceeded my expectations for sure. Pool and pool deck were clean and well maintained. Dining area was as spotless as everything else and the breakfast bar was well organized. I’m not easily impressed as I’ve travelled a great deal for both work and play and have been grossed out by even 5 star hotel/ resort conditions. I will be back and would recommend it to any of my friends or colleagues 10/10, staff is doing an amazing job at Fernie Stanford.

This was my 3rd time staying at this hotel and sadly the upkeep has really gone downhill. The hotel looks rundown, and in need of a refresh/clean. The rooms are dirty, and worn. Our Tub was damaged, toilet cracked , Patio screen door ripped and off the tracks. All things that can be looked past, but the room itself was extremely dirty. Beds, sheets, counters, toilet and walls. Absolutely Terrible There is never anyone at the front desk and when you ring the bell, if someone does come, they look annoyed to assist, even when checking out. The pool is nice and the kids loved the slide. Very unfortunate to see such a nice property be neglected to this point.

We have been staying at this property everytime we go to fernie which is typically 2-3 times a year. It just seems like the property needs better maintenance and upkeep. The Indian restaurant attached to the hotel is now gone as well and the new restaurant isn’t great. A little bit of proper upkeep and cleanliness would help. Also the continental breakfast has gone a bit downhill with lack of staff in the breakfast area.

I booked this hotel for a get away with the kids. The property has seen better days but is still serviceable. The room was a good size with a loft which didn't really have enough privacy or allow the kids to sleep while other lights were on . The pool was nice enough with a great big water slide. The breakfast was quite basic. All in all a good value but could use some paint and some lighting updates and one or two hot items at the breakfast other than 1 waffle maker.

Room was nice due to two story layout may not be good if you have trouble doing stairs. Lights on stairs would be a safety addition. No night lighting on stairs if you need to use the wash room at night it is very dangerous.

The property is old and in desperate need of a refresh. The decor is quite funny (think retro 80s, with a Roman bath theme). It has a lot of potential but probably hasn't been renovated in 40 years. We had an issue with no hot water and there was only 1 staff member working that night - Param went above and beyond to fix the issue and to make our stay a pleasant one. The pool and hot tub are nice and overall the hotel was "fine" but for shoulder season, the price we paid was not worth what we received.

Facilities were slightly dated but good overall. Does appear they are renovating or refinishing some areas, including staining some wood. Waterslide and hot tub were great. Sauna was working well. Continental breakfast was good... basic but had a waffle maker. The restaurant at the hotel was actually surprisingly very tasty. The pet friendly room was in the back corner away from noise and foot traffic, which was nice. All in all enjoyable stay. Esso/Circle K across the street if you need anything, very walkable. A bit of a distance from 'downtown' fernie but nice trails around the hotel and along the river.
