Room was fine. The man (victor?)(fri night at check in) was delightful and very helpful and the lady sat morning was very helpful also. Recommend both of them

Not a fancy place, but clean, helpfull and polite staff, good food in the attached pub. Example, compared to a Surestay / Best Weston, this beats it, maybe be not for furnashings, but service, definately. I prefer good service.
My only complaint, no micro wave, which seems to be standard everywhere else

I got 'upgraded' to a room but it was in the noisy area right on the street and above the bar. I purposely booked a different room. So other than minimal sleep it was fine.

The room was clean, very well kept all the way around. Every staff was very nice, switched us rooms when needed. Helped us in every way possible until check in.

Is good for solo trip
But the location is close to the drug addiction area ( The whole E heisting street)
Not dirty , is acceptable , the hair dryer is not good but overall not bad . And the price is worth it.

Besides the nice reception staff, no real knowledge of the area. No kind of water access pass a certain time unless pre bought on your own. Room was definitely smaller then what it seemed in pictures. I paid extra for a "quieter" room....don't think that exist on Hastings. Traffic was well heard. Linens/bed pretty gross. Good for a quick, kind of cheap stay but probably would have been nicer in a cheaper air bnb or a room in a shared house for a cheaper price.
