I arrived at the hotel promptly at 4 p.m. yesterday to check in. There were plenty of vacant spaces in the outdoor parking lot, yet the on-duty morning manager greeted us with a surly, extremely unfriendly attitude. When he learned we needed to park our car, he insisted we use the underground parking garage instead. I clearly told him the underground area was rather narrow and I was not a confident driver, but he brushed off my concerns and claimed it would be no problem, forcing me to park underground. Predictably, the underground parking was in terrible condition. I had no choice but to head back to the lobby and ask for a spot in the outdoor lot. By then the shift had changed. The afternoon manager was utterly shocked to hear that the morning manager had directed me to the underground garage in the first place. After sorting out the parking issue, I went up to my room, only to find it worn-out and shabby. Worst of all, the air conditioner was mounted right next to the double bed, with its vent blowing directly onto the bed. Sleeping like this would almost certainly leave guests catching a cold. To make matters far worse, although the hotel enjoys a convenient location, it is surrounded by numerous restaurants downstairs. Large groups of young people loiter, shriek, shout and make raucous noise on the streets until 2 a.m. What’s more, the area is even plagued with drug-related activities. The overall environment is absolutely appalling. I will never choose to stay

It’s very convenient to have dinner or walk to the scenic spots. We like the place and we have a suite with a separate bedroom. When we wanted a set of sheets at 11 pm, the staff came very quickly. We can use the laundry for free. We recommend it!

Pleasant stay, convenient and a 18 min walk to Shaw Center. Room has a slight musty smell and it was a little noisy since it is right beside the elevator... Otherwise everything was pleasant.

The check in was quick and efficient and the staff friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean and the laundry smart and excellent which included a free service. The breakfast was very good with a great choice of food. The location in the city was very convenient for sightseeing and all the restaurants and bars.

Excellent location to walk to Parliament buildings Rideau Canal and even Byward Market. Room had all that we could need for short stay or even longer(full kitchen ). Free Breakfast was very comprehensive given the lower than market nightly cost, Only negative was $28.00/night outside parking which was same price as garage. Thought outdoor should be less ($20) Would book again

The room was always cleaned by staff, who are very polite and friendly. Breakfast was complete and satisfying everyone's taste.

Stort og rent værelse, venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Hotellet var lidt svært at finde rundt i, og morgenmaden var meget kedelig, men værelset og overnatningen var god værdi til prisen.

Surprisingly the room was bigger than expected. Lots of space, a big fridge at disposal, even a computer was there ! I left with a pretty good experience there
