This was an excellent stay. The room was spacious, the bed super comfortable, kitchens well appointed, bathroom amenities were excellent. The wifi was a little unreliable in our room (308) from time to time. Terrific staff, superb location, quiet, and easy walks to the canal and Parliament buildings/downtown. $10 per day credit because we didn’t use housekeeping — a nice option! Generous breakfast. Efficient and quiet air conditioners. Would 100% stay here again.

The staff were overwhelmed on a Saturday night. Felt like mature hour. I have mobility issues and I had to remind them a number of times to help me. The first room they offered me wasn't accessible. The rooms were noisy. I've stayed here before and had good experiences. Too bad. Perhaps new management. I don't see myself wanting to stay there again. The person who helped me to my room was kind and helpful. That was about the only bright side. I actually checked out a few hours after checking in because I felt uncomfortable staying the night there.

We stayed in a very spacious room which worked well for a family. The room was much larger than expected, with huge, comfortable beds and plenty of space to spread out. The bathroom was clean and well stocked with towels, and overall the room was practical and comfortable. Breakfast was included, which we appreciated, especially with children. I would not say it was something to rave about, but it was convenient and there was enough choice: cereal, toast, juice, coffee, water, plus hot items such as omelettes and sausages. The hot food felt quite budget/basic, but it did the job. The location on Elgin Street was reasonably convenient, with restaurants and pubs nearby. We particularly liked the pub directly opposite and ended up using it both evenings. One note for anyone doing the boat tour: it may be easier to board from the bottom of the lock gates rather than walking across the bridge, although the Canadian Museum of History is well worth visiting. The hotel was also helpful with parking. We had a very large hire car, and they were able to give us an outside parking space, which made things much easier. Overall, this was a practical, comfortable and good-value stay rather than a luxury one, with the room size, helpful parking and convenient location being the main positives.

Room was very clean. Amenities were great! Everything you could ask for and then some. Spacious and beds comfortable. Proximity to downtown was also wonderful. Breakfast was excellent and so much car. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Good value for the money.
