A dreadful place, where the owner is incapable of keeping even basis facilities in decent order, or is unwilling to do so.

A problem with a dripping tap that also produced long, loud plumbing noises made it really difficult to sleep.

I was in a bedroom at the front, single glazed sliding sash window that would not close. Night 1 I was awoken with shouts of “I want to die!” at 5-30 am. Upon looking out of the window I noticed 5 police cars outside, and they escorted a handcuffed man to a car and drove him away. Wide awake I decided to go to work and leave at 6-00am. Heading downstairs to the reception door I was prevented from entering by 4 Police officers who said that they have a “Major Incident” and I could not leave for around 40 minutes. After persuasion they let me leave via the garden and through an hole in the wall. Truly a memorable experience staying here!

You can park outside the hotel theres about 6/7 spaces but u have to pay £10 a night and they dont say it till uve actually booked but i wouldnt bother unless u r a Druggie or Alki or a chavi loudmouth with no respect for others. The photos on your website are obviously from many many years ago because it is now an absolute filthy mess. Threadbare dirty carpets, pkaster and paint coming off all the walls, damp patches everywhere, tiny rooms and some with no windows. Says a tv in the rooms , but they dont work in some. The staff lie to you and fob u off. I have taken lots of photos to prove this , both customers and staff were smoking Wacky Backy etc cos it stunk all the time and there was lots of shouting screaming and talking till all hours so if u need any sleep you wont get any. I did complain on the first day and they did change our room which was a bit btr butthe telly was broke and no window except in the bathroom with all the broken tiles. The wifi also didnt work even tho it was advertised as free and available. I askedv3 different staffembers to sort things out but nothing as been done and no phone calls from the management. Im very suprised u have anything to do with this hotel because it is a bad advert for your company.

The room was poorly maintained, with a thread bare carpet, and broken floor tiles in the bathroom and felt and smelt damp and dirty. The staff were pleasant.

You get what you pay for. No fuss, no muss.

The room was in a poor condition, smelt damp, a little mouldy in the shower cubicle and paint falling of the walls.

Yes it's cheap, but I've stayed in much nicer places for the same price. Cheap uncomfortable mattress, light above bed and mirror didn't work properly, had to use my phone light to get ready to go out as the lighting in the room was so poor. I found a takeaway fork on the floor when I arrived, dirty coffee mug on the tray, and a piece of plastic on the floor at the end of the bed, so clearly not cleaned thoroughly after the last customer. Staff on the desk were lovely, polite and helpful. Windows are old wooden sash type, so my room was extremely noisy with passing traffic. The photos on Hotels.com are not representative of the room you will get.

DO NOT even consider staying in this place. It’s absolutely disgusting. Booked 4 nights due to work. Stayed one night woke up 1 o’clock next morning covered in bed bug bites left immediately and had to sleep in my car.Still awaiting a response from hotels.com for a refund.
