Very comfy beds. I don’t usually like a soft bed, but these were nice. Bedding was soft and pillows not too bulky. Had a good sleep. And Amiee, on reception was delightful x

Parking on the front costs £10 there is an option to park on the road but that was full. Staff were polite and friendly. Rooms were in very poor condition.

Pretty much as low as you can get in Nottingham, this is a basic no-frills hotel that only exists because there is a ridiculous dearth of decent value hotels in the city. The one plus was that the staff were helpful and responsive when I explained that I would not be able to check in until very late at night. The room itself was tiny and there were suspicious stains on the carpet, cigarette burn marks on the basin. I had to go to reception to get a towel and shower gel. Toilet seat was broken and the blinds didn't really close properly. The arrival area, stairs, hallways etc are all very basic with no attempt whatsoever to try and make the place look attractive. If you book this place for a getaway with your partner you can expect to get divorce papers shortly afterwards!

the pictures online did not represent the acural building, the building is old needs repairs, the room i saw was the attic , with standing shower, towels were old with stained marks, upon entering you can smell cigerattes and weed combine. would not recommend. once i saw the room and asked for a upgrade the lady told me they are fully booked and i am aware the the money is non refundable. i was not able to parked at the front to booked a room somewhere else, the lady at the front desk asked me to move my car three times. After parking my car at the store across the street i was able to booked another hotel very expensive, i asked a friend to booked a room and the same room that i paid for for two nights was rebooked .Expedia i need my money back,

Booked this room for my parents and they had a terrible experience. The bed was broken and they could not sleep at all and ended up having to make the 3 hour drive back earlier than anticipated. Both my parents are elderly with chronic back pain and expected to have somewhere nice enough to rest before travelling back. They mentioned this to the receptionist at the desk and all she could say was “okay then have a nice day” I would not recommend this establishment.

Rooms are not getting cleaned, there is no soap available in a bathroom except the old remains of soap cube left by previous guest that was not cleaned. Lamps do not work at all. The carpet is very old and smelly and looked like not vacuumed at all

Note to future visitors - parking is not free. It costs £10 per night, £25 for 4 nights. The bed sheets and towels were clean, everything else was so grimy. I didn’t want to walk on the carpet without shoes on. Most of the fixtures were broken eg the bedside table had a drawer missing, a big crack across it and wasn’t even wiped down. The TV remote had soo much DNA built up on it that I needed to wash my hands (with the broken soap dispenser) after I touched it. The mattress felt super soft so that you felt you sank through it, until you hit a very hard layer beneath. I didn’t sleep too badly though and luckily I had only booked one night. I know the room was inexpensive, I’ve stayed in cheap and cheerful hotels/motels before. I could’ve put up with the walls that needed a paint, the shower that looked like it was bought in the 90’s and took an age to get a trickle of heart and the lack of any fridge/microwave, However, it was just so ingrained with dirt (never seen a deep clean?) that I couldn’t wait to leave again.

The room was clean. The staff were very welcoming. The parking was available at £10 per night. Lidl shopping is directly across the road. The rooms require minor maintenance of the bedside lamps and shower cubicle The location on Mansfield Road is ideal for travel to Nottm or Sherwood on public transport.

We arrived at the hotel and was greeted by a lady on the front desk. She was polite and friendly. Everything seemed to be nice from first impressions, but that didnt last long. We got our key and went to our room. The door was open and the door frame was coming off the wall. We went inside, the main room looked relatively clean and beds were made. The bathroom however had dead ants all over the floor and the shower cubical looked like it had seen better days. Inside the shower cubical was black mould and the shower hose was filthy. I was given a dustpan and brush to sweep up the dead ants myself and our concerns regarding the broken door frame were completely blanked and we received no response regarding this. They just didnt seem to care. There is a note in the bathroom regarding towels and to put them the shower cubicle if you'd like new towels but no housekeeping came to our room for the week that we were there. The towels are old and stained and need a refresh. The rooms are really hot during the summer months. A fan or aircon system is really required. We had to go and buy a fan ourselves to use during our stay. The room and outside area certainly didnt look like the pictures online. If you have a buggy or wheelchair dont expect to have access to get in and out of the hotel. As they allow cars to park right infront of the door, which then only allows access for people without wheels. This hotel needs a complete makeover as it is completely run down.

Very disappointing stay. The TV in the room didn’t work and couldn’t be fixed, there were patches of black mould on the walls, there was remains of food under the bed, exposed wiring from a broken light fitting, the decorative standard was very poor, and the carpet was very badly fitted. Would not recommend,

We didn't even take our shoes off and were afraid to touch anything or put our luggage down. We found another hotel to stay in immediately. The building was muggy, the air stale. The room was filthy. There was a chicken bone from a previous guest left on the floor, the sheets were already dirty, the room stank of sewage - the "bathroom" door was a curtain in front of a toilet, and a shower that smelled like something died in it. The mattress was just a block of foam. Safer than being on the street, but if you have a car, sleep in that instead.
