The quick check in and the service

The room was fairly clean, and very large, but very drab. It was like a Holiday Inn Room that wanted to be a high-end fancy hotel. The location is OK, there isn't much to do in Milton Keynes. It's right next to a huge mall, but it's hard to walk from the mall to the hotel, unless you have a great sense of direction. GPS is not helpful with wayfinding, and all the Uber drivers had trouble finding it. Breakfast however was the best I had in all of England and Ireland. And the views from the restaurant are spectacular.

Lovely hotel and staff very friendly. A few slight issues with the room but quickly resolved.

This place was great when it first opened, really top tier. We stayed about 8 months ago and there were buckets in reception as clearly there was a leak. This weekend, still there. The quality of the rooms is not where it was, bottom of the doors are chipped, grime around the seals in the bathroom. The bar on the top floor is the same story, standards have just slipped. It’s such a shame as it was a great place to stay and was just a higher standard than other hotels in the area, but it’s not worth the extra money anymore. A real let down.

Beautiful room, nice and refined. Comfy bed, really good bathroom layout too. Has a “sense” of luxury. Central location so good access to food places and few bits and bobs to do - bowling, arcade, bit of shopping. Would stay here again if I needed to pass through the area.

was okay toothpaste marks in my water glass when checking in. all a little bit clinical no soul.

This is our second stay at the hotel, and once again, it has exceeded our expectations. The room cleanliness is truly exceptional, and we genuinely enjoy our time here. While the breakfast was a bit disappointing this time, our overall experience remains fantastic. We will plan another short break at your hotel near future.

I am a loyal guest at La Tour Hotel, but my stay on 28/12/25 was extremely disappointing. I found a bed bug in Room 907 and was bitten; reception staff saw the evidence and apologised. The next day, the duty manager (Haydee) was rude and dismissive, contradicted her colleagues, ignored evidence, and even told us not to book again. We were moved to another room due to bad smells and poor shower pressure. Promised late checkout was later challenged, Expedia was wrongly told we had made previous complaints, and no refund or compensation was offered. Pest control claimed nothing was found despite staff acknowledgement. After spending nearly £3,000 across multiple stays, raising a serious hygiene concern resulted in being banned from the hotel. Unprofessional, poorly maintained, and far below four-star standards. Not recommended.

It has the quality of a 5 star hotel. Very neat and good customer service

Great place to stay lovely clean rooms we went to ski dome and it’s in walking distance and shopping centre is on site it has a lovely rooftop bar restaurant very nice and modern decor and great price

The hotel is conveniently located nextdoor to an shopping mall and lots of activities and restaurants, plus a lovely public park. The breakfast was very nice with great views of the area up on the 14th floor. The only thing I would of liked was a mini fridge in the room.
