There is as a smell of sewage in my bathroom when I first arrived and my TV didn’t work. Reported both in the evening when I noticed TV issue, after getting in from visiting friends but when I did, received no apology or appreciation it wasn’t acceptable from person on desk. In fairness an offer to send maintenance to fix TV was made, but as it was approaching 10:30 I declined as it was late (I was really wanting them to be aware of issues). Once I said this I got an “oh” message in response and then then a shrug shoulders attitude, no attempt was made to log the issue.
I received an apology for situation when I re reported it as I was checking out, but I won’t be staying here again. It’s a shame as this was my 2nd visit to the hotel and my first visit experience was positive.

Good location. Lovely view from the restaurant with breakfast, good selection and great service with breakfast. Would have loved a better quality coffee with breakfast!! Loads of options in a short distance for food.
Staff could have been slightly friendlier. £10 for parking in the multi storey next door.

Room was clean, nice big bed, shower head not rainfall effect due to limescale, staff helpful on reception, housekeeping extremely polite and welcoming, pillows way too soft and flat (personal reference) walls very thin, paid parking hard to find a space but manageable. I would say its a 3 star hotel
