We stayed here whenever we go to Ascot or Wentworth. The hotel facilities are great and the food is always great. The hotel is busy and sometimes this reflects on the buffet breakfast. This will remain our first choice every time we are in the area.

While we could overlook that the hotel was a little tired, staff were excellent, I was disappointed around the transparency about the pool rules and access for kids. Described as family friendly kids were limited to very restricted hours and space in the pool and unable to use the outdoor pool area and required to use the disabled toilet as a change room. It gave the impression that kids were a hinderance to the target, adult market of the spa. We booked the hotel especially because of the pool. Fortunately, Coral Reef Water Park was up the road so I took the kids to that instead. If the hotel had been more transparent about pool use we would not have booked.

Staff were very rude. The AC wasn’t working in our room and it took many efforts to change rooms, staff were keen to hang up on calls so eventually got a new room with AC after going to reception.
Breakfast used to be great but food was poor and you have to pay extra for a coffee which isn’t instant.
Booked a massage too which was great, but staff were keen to say we couldn’t use the pool despite us being guests and paying for a treatment.
We got married here over 10 years ago and have visited often, but we’ll be in no rush to return.

Our stay was extremely disappointing. The hotel was old, dated, and in desperate need of refurbishment. The toilet in our room didn’t flush properly, which was unacceptable. The swimming pool smelled strongly of urine, making it unpleasant to use. The breakfast was awful—most of it was barely edible, with very poor quality food and very little choice. Overall, the hotel did not match the standard we expected, and we would not recommend staying here.

Beautiful facility with touches of old and new and great location. Rooms were very nice, modern bathrooms and air conditioning. Easy, secure onsite gated parking.
Indoor pool and out door spa/hot tub was a great added benefit.
Nice bar, did not use the restaurant so I can't share much other than nicely designed and well kept.
Close to many things, longer walks but easy drives.

Lovely pool area for children and adult areas in the spa. It was really busy with a lot of spa guests we couldn’t get anywhere to sit and realised when we left that spa guests had rudely left wet towels on the loungers after they’d left making us think they were taken. The entrance hall is lovely but has stairs whichever way you enter which is odd when they know people will bring cases. The rooms are really dated but clean. Our lamps didn’t work by the window, only half the room could be lit up. We had a family room with 2 single beds set up, one had a mattress and topper, the other just a topper so it sunk down without any weight on. We asked reception twice to rectify it but they didn’t. Breakfast was lovely and the waiting staff were excellent and polite. This is our 2nd visit, not as good as our first one and I don’t think we’d return, sorry

Nice hotel. Spa is good unfortunately the pool was very cold and steamroom broken.
Rooms were okay but need a referb, especially the bathrooms.
Water stations along the corridor with still and sparkaling water was a nice touch, would be good if they came out ice cold rather than tap temperature.
Plenty of parking on our stay.
Breakfast was as you expect.
Overall, for the price a good stay.

Located close to Ascot, but maybe far enough to drive as over a mile. Sunninghill is about half a mile up the hill. Hotel is a little tired, but does the job. The bar is fine, as is breakfast - what one would expect. The spa and pool ar ok - although two lanes for swimming aren't wide enough for two people, and often there are kids fighting with long noodle floats. The steam room is good some days, smelling clean and fresh, but other days it smells sweaty and dull. There's an outside jacuzzi.

Room is a little tired. Window locks for example all broken and no one has pulled the bed out a hoovered the dust. We had to ask for a room move as the bathroom fan was so noisy but this was sorted very quick. Breakfast lovely. Outdoor pool could do with a drain a scrub a the glass descaled but otherwise nice a warm.

Not sure if I got the gritty room because I paid with my points or if most of the rooms are so tired and dated? Shower hanging out of holes in the wall tiles, paintwork flaking around doors, dirty marks on walls, tv so old that the remote still has a “teletext” button! If I got such a bad room because I wasn’t a fully paying customer then shame on The Berystede. I won’t be rushing back.
