Some dust and cobwebs in the side of the bedside table, under radiator and wardrobe shelves. which the staff should be mindful of. However, the room itself was perfect for us and very comfortable.

Breakfast excellent. Car park is now quite a walk from the main entrance so bring an umbrella in case of rain. Breakfast really good. My bathroom fan wasn't working well and there was damp on the ceiling. They let me in early which I am very grateful for.

A lovely place to stay. Breakfast was very good. Room was a bit small, but you wouldn't want to stay in the room with so beautiful garden outside. It's not far from city center. You can park your car at Park&Ride and take bus to the city center. It's convenient. Lovely staff and environment.

A lovely place to stay. Breakfast was very good. Room was a bit small, but you wouldn't want to stay in the room with so beautiful garden outside. It's not far from city center. You can park your car at Park&Ride and take bus to the city center. It's convenient. Lovely staff and environment.

Staff polite, room fine for price paid. Lovely hot shower. Amazing grounds to walk in and enjoy all year round. Breakfast superb, had everything i wanted and more but eggs, sausages and bacon could have bern hotter.

Staff are lovely and responsive. Breakfast is great, as is the price. I reported a slow-draining shower after the first day, which was promptly resolved but housekeeping forgot to come that day. Funny smell in the room (fusty).

Dont be fooled by the exquisite exterior: avoid booking a room here unless you dont mind a bedroom that was last decorated in the 1980s at best, a tired bathroom that has black mould on the windows, and a television that cannot be viewed from the bed. This alongside a very poor breakfast service: no fresh coffee or coffee machines, the hot food was luke warm, the orange juice was the cheap pre-frozen mix that requires diluting before service, and the atmosphere of a bus station cafe.
The phrase "simple accommodation" doesnt even get close.

Fabulous hotel within easy reach of the city centre. Great for a large group staying as we were for our son's wedding. Breakfast abd evening bar meals excellent. Only complaint would be that the wifi was very patchy and we often had no signal
