사실 호텔룸 자체는 아주작고 다소 별로였지만, 잘 꾸며져있는 정원만으로 숙박할 가치가 있음

Old and small

No reason to stay unless you have a confirence/meeting at the hotel. Room was very small. No lift with many stairs. The staff was not helpful.

An absolutely beautiful old property that has suffered from not being maintained, and is being run on a bare minimum of effort. Sadly this could be a spectacular experience but the staff seem worn out and not especially bothered. There’s a smell of damp in our tiny room, which feels more like student accommodation than a hotel room. Comfortable, and we slept well, but whatever you do don’t ask for water at nighttime! The shower and bathroom are basic and in need of an upgrade. The bar menu is not fit for anything except the most perfunctory dining, and the surroundings are lack soul and feel like an old people’s home. The breakfast offered a good choice but prepared on a once-and-done basis. The room had a canteen feel with a layout that lacked finesse, trestle tables à la school hall. Shame really, with a bit of imagination this could be a truly spectacular place to stay. The grounds are the best part of it.

Food is limited and dry in cafe/restaurant. There is no dinner here. Breakfast is fresh nice and repetitive.

Beautiful location but remote. There's nothing nearby for quick access to snacks, drinks, etc. The building is huge and you could easily get lost so pay attention to signage. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was tidy. Our room was right up against the courtyard (ground level) and we had to keep our curtains closed because there was some sort of event going on and people could see right into our room. No AC or fan but on cooler days it wouldn't be so bad. We were there on warmish days but thankfully the windows opened and that helped cool the room a bit.

Overall a good place to stay with the event also taking place in the same venue. Friendly and helpful staff, good facilities, traditional amenities, gorgeous gardens perfect for tranquility and meditation spaces.

Superbe établissement dans un cadre magnifique, ambiance tout à fait appropriée à recommander pour un séjour à Cambridge. Chambres confortables et bien aménagées, bar très sympathique, et très bon petit déjeuner dans une salle très typique (collège anglais) À recommander sans hésitation

Full English breakfast with sliced bread, toaster if toast required, cereals and sliced fresh fruit selection in buffet setting. Usual long benches and tables common in academic establishments. Excellent gardens and Capability Brown designed grounds as expected in large country houses.

Clean room, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful buildings and scenery

Always very good. First choice when in the area

Breakfast was great, but the paper thin walls and arguing couple in the next room meant sleep was near impossible
