Returning customer for the third year in a row, I loved the cleanliness, the comfy bed, the room was quiet , overlooking to the back yard, the staff very gentle and brilliant in every way; Close to the attractions, busses, train station, plenty of dining and eateries no matter what time of the day

The rooms are lovely, me and my partner stayed in the Suite room and it was perfect. Exactly what we needed. We came for a concert and a long weekend of shopping. Everything was clean, tidy and well presented. The staff were helpful and friendly, everyone was very polite. Check in was speedy despite a very large queue, and the luggage room was so so useful for before and after checkout. So very accommodating and a gorgeous building with lots of common areas. Towels, soap, very comfortable king size bed; we recommend indefinitely!

今次是第二次入住那旅舍，房間光線充足，空間都是足夠。步行至Lime Street 火車站只需少於十分鐘，到購物商場也是五，六分鐘路程。

It’s just because this hostel has convenient access conditions and is relatively close to the city center, so I chose this one. However, I booked a 4-bed room but I was allocated an 8-bed room. The people staying in thereafter were very noisy, which bothered me a lot.

For the first time I can remember I was asked for photo id or no stay. Eventually I found an old email sending a redacted copy of my passport and that was accepted. The confirmation email MAY have mentioned it but who reads those for a stay in the UK?
Radiators obviously need bleeding as it sounded like we were bivvying next to a bleeding waterfall!
Basic facilities, no tea /coffee etc, but quiet and otherwise comfortable.

Room was very cold, heating wasn't working - they are currently doing refurb works so think that may have been part of the problem. Staff were on the whole very friendly and helpful. There could be more consistency in service however - most staff didn't charge to make a cup of tea for instance but one morning another member of staff did charge so very much depends on who you get! Convenient that it's a few mins walk from the city centre.

Overall it was great for the price. But they did start doing hallway construction at 7am which was super loud. And despite having the do not disturb sign on the door someone walked in while we were getting dressed and they didn’t even knock.

Booking this hotel, I questioned paying £80 for four adults on a Friday night ahead of a Mersyside Derby. However, we got there, the location is very central, the hostel was clean in itself, the lift looked a final destination style life. The room we got was great and exactly what I'd expect for £80 but clean, tidy, good spacious bathroom. Well worth the money we paid and would definitely return. Staff were not overly talkative but if thats my downfall from an £80 (£20pp) stay then so be it.

チェックインは隣のバーで行ったが、女性スタッフはぶっきらぼうな対応だった。居室は地下だが窓から光が入る部屋だった。ベッドは３段だが最上段は使用されていなかった。バンクベッドはイギリスでは珍しくカーテンが付いておりプライバシーが保たれる。バンクベッドの上部に収納箱が付いており便利だが頭や膝をぶつけることがあった。最初の晩、ライトとコンセントが機能しなかった。シャワーはボタン式で温度調整ができないので、しばらく水を浴びるとお湯に変わる。Wi-Fiは問題なく使用できたが、居室にあるパスワードは使用されておらず、受付か階段の途中にあるパスワードが最新のもの。子供のグループが宿泊しており夜中まで騒いだり暴れる音がした。

Not like it used to be, but I think they are doing it up stayed here when it was selina and happened to have shared room, and was so good considering sharing! This time had a double bedroom, but wasn’t great, shower room not clean, architrave missing, fine for a one night stay but not like the pictures. Staff are friendly though.
