Clean and basic room. Nowhere to put anything, especially in the bathroom, not even a towel rail! No TV. Bed needed a mattress protector! Bar was closed for a private function. Good position for walking into the city centre and ideal for just one night stay.

Family room was perfect for what we needed. Would stay again

I stayed here with my girlfriend. The room and hotel itself were lovely but the staff was nothing but rude. We are both young adults and the reception staff attempted refused us entry even though we presented legal ID that proved our age. Also the next day they interrogated my girlfriend on what room we were staying in and repeatedly asked us if we were checking out that day even though we had booked for two nights. It’s discrimination to treat us like criminals just because we are young. I am deeply disappointed with this.

Hotel was great for a one night stay and great value. However wouldn’t like to stay for longer. Unfortunately the lift didn’t work and we stayed on the 4th floor. No hot water the next morning for a shower. Other than that it was perfectly fine. Staff helpful. Room clean. Very close to city centre.

Great location within easy walking distance to plenty of bars and restaurants. The nearest car park was reasonably priced at £6 for 24 hours. The room was nicely furnished and very clean. I loved the decor throughout the building too. The staff were very welcoming. My only negative was the lift was out of service and we were on the 4th floor so lots of steps to deal with. This wasn't the end of the world and wouldn't prevent me from going back.

Basic room with private bathroom, no tv, kettle or anywhere to hang clothes, lift out of service. Good price though for a clean, basic accommodation in good location.

Room was very basic, a chair to sit on would have been nice along with tea / coffee making facilities more hanging space for clothes rather than just 2 hooks in the wall. No issues with cleanliness and the bed was very comfortable. A choice at breakfast would have been rather than just been presented with a plate of food.

Friendly staff and easy check in but building needs some love

The sweetness of a perfect location remains longer than the bitterness of a few small errors. The room was spacious enough, but the bathroom handle screws were likely to fall out, and that might be dangerous to be stuck inside if the handle falls out. Some guests are leaving early and miss the breakfast that they have paid for. It is natural to ask for a small "travel pack" which most hotels provide without question. You can take over this good practice, as I was refused to get one. The building is old and valuable, needs constant maintenance and a smart hand.

No tv in room or tea coffee facilities, no choice in breakfast which was disappointing would not recommend the breakfast especially if an allergy sufferer, rooms were clean ok for a night but not for a week, close to city centre

The breakfast was scrambled eggs on white bread, no butter. Then croissants and a natural yoghurt with fruit and berries. The scrambled eggs were terrible (white/grey in colour), the rest ok. We had a 6 bunk bed room, where the cleanliness were mediocre, and my bed made terrible squeaky sounds when I moved around. No place to hang towels in the bathroom. Common areas were fine, and the staff friendly, but seemed a bit inexperienced. All in all, for the price we paid, it was ok, but if they had just fixed the scrambled eggs, cleanliness and some details around the room, much would be fixed.

Great bathroom shower excellent

Super bien situé dans le centre ville, l’hôtel a un style à part et l’accueil est très agréable idem pour le petit déjeuner copieux et servi à table. La chambre double dans notre cas est suffisante manque peut être quelques équipements, étagères de rangement sèche cheveux crochets pour accrocher un manteau voir petite chaise ou console. Durant notre séjour ascenseur en panne ou en travaux, et quelques travaux de rafraîchissement sont en cours (une bonne chose)

Vindue i badevær. Kunne ikke lukkes, og varme kunne ikke tændes. Badeværelse var derfor koldt

Bra frukost. Slitna utrymmen. Dåligt ventilerat. Bra läge.
