It’s unfortunate that this chain charge a premium rate for what is essentially a budget hotel with interesting decor. Check in was alarmingly quick. No ID check of any sort. Room was fine but no basics such as hair conditioner or a bottle of water makes it feel low budget. Add in a local guide/magazine in the room that’s two summers out of date and it starts to feel like they’re not too fussed about details, which is a shame.

This is a bit of a party hotel at weekends. We didn't get much sleep due to people staying up until 8am! We complained at 6am and someone knocked on their door but they soon started up again. It is the 2nd time this has happened unfortunately so just be wary if you need some sleep! They did refund half the room but we are shattered!

Room was okay but chipped paint in doors ans skirting board and needed a good clean in some areas - this was une pected co sidering the price paid

Location is amazingly good. Bar was super with a great atmosphere and decor. Great b’fast with the gent who looked after us being really good. He was friendly and a very busy chap. Rooms were lovely and quiet with a great bed.

The room itself was nice and spacious, however we came up to the room after check in opened the drawer in the desk and there was left over boxed up food from the people before. I went down and spoke to the lady on the desk and she said it’ll get cleaned and sorted straight away. We were out for the night 6pm-12am when we got back the boxed up food was still there and as I got in bed I saw left over biscuit wrapper by the side of the bed!

The room was clean and tidy, a hit dark and stark.
Liked the nespresso coffee machine.
I felt like the poor neighbour becsuse i was on an offer. Shower hanging off wall, towel rail heater didnt work. Just felt i wasnt important as i had booked a cheap deal
