Good Evening I stayed at your hotel on sat 6th Dec., I checked in and the receptionist told me my room had been upgraded , It's smelt damp and musky outside the room , when we opened the door it was worse, We got in the room and the wall paper looked liked it had been patched up , along with stains on the walls.There was an empty beer bottle in one of the cupboard the carpet was thread bare in places .When I went in the bathroom all the bathroom

Bedroom was dated and did not smell fresh

Staff were very polite & efficient. Facility was clean & tidy

Stayed on business recently and have done many times before. Love the place and always will come back. This time the front desk went over and above, especially Chin. He’s a diamond

Nice room and food was good

The room had water damage on walls. We paid for half board and the evening meal was awful and the breakfast wasn’t great. The staff we lovely

Room was cold. The air con heater didn’t work. For the 2nd night we were given a portable heater. Prosecco was cheaper to buy by the glass than the bottle. Confusing. Breakfast was decent.

Lovely hotel & staff. Room was very cold even with heat on. Maybe needing windows renovated? Lovely grounds & quiet given its location close to a busy road. Excellent breakfast with room service bang on time!

Brilliant

Everything nice and clean and adequate towels etc. unfortunately the room was a little cool and despite fiddling with the aircon control I was unable to improve the temperature. Tea and coffee fine but maybe a cple of little complimentary biscuits would be nice. Staff all lovely and super helpful

Breakfast expensive, so didnt use it, made additional service charge for bar food order, so wont do that again. Room was comfortable enough but fixtires & decor very tired, needs a tevamp eslecially in the bathroom. Staff good, entrance etc. Ok but the quality is only on the surface, rooms ive stayed in here recently need deep referb.

Beautiful public area, gorgeous lounge/bar area. Staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. Breakfast room OK but for some reason only half the lights on, so quite dark. Bedroom was lacklustre and soulless. Flickering bedside lights, no artwork on walls, corners of bath at shower end were in a sorry state- probably years of not quite being cleaned properly. Such as shame as the public part of the hotel is lovely- presumably to attract wedding couples. Not very sound proof, we were woken frequently by people in the corridor up until 2am, (there was not a wedding when we stayed)and then someone else's shower noise woke us up at 6am.

The hotel ambience was superb. Will stay again.

Good value. Although it is a bit dated the room was large and comfortable and well maintained

Breakfast was plentiful, but both the coffee machines could not produce better than "warm" coffee. The bar coffee machine could produce HOT coffee. Room was clean and comfortable, BUT the window would not fully close, producing a slight draught. I could not find the source until the final night, a very slight failure to close

The staff were extremely helpfully and friendly. My room was very comfortable, and the bathroom was luxurious and clean.
