Room was very good and well appointed. The maintenance team need to re-mastic the bath, though. Staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. But the hotel manager needs a talking to. Saturday was exceptionally busy but management only allocated one person to the bar with a 20 minute wait to be served. The bar lady was brilliant. The manager needs to ‘act down’ and plug the gaps when needed. This is typical of management in this country who sit in offices rather than working at the coal face when needed.

Noise, rooms are not noise proof at all, people banging doors and talking in the halls all night.

the member of staff at reception was helpful: *) apologetic for our wait even though it was obviously not her fault, but that of an unprepared customer *) noticed that I was using elbow crutches and allocated us a more suitably located room without being asked

Whilst we were evacuated due to a fire, which we understand was beyond the control of the hotel, we got back to our room and immediately got ready for bed to get warm and wanted to order room service. We were unable to do this as there was no phone in the room. Overall, it was an okay stay

We were surprised by the size of the room on walking in however, we had no heating in the room so had to phone down and report it. We were given an electric heater immediately so we could get warm. The meal we had at our celebration was okay but prawn cocktails had hardly any sauce and were a bit dry! Our bed although when we initially tried it was reasonably comfortable on getting into bed that night the mattress was very uncomfortable with springs showing through and we were unable to get comfortable all night. Waking with very sore backs this morning.

Room spacious & clean gym small but workable, let down couldn't get water from the water dispenser in gym and lockers not working.

Nice room great staff. Very clean hotel lights in the room could be better as could the tv. But looks and feels a great hotel

Room was clean and comfortable but in need of modernisation

Staff were friendly. Unfortunately there was a wedding on the night we stayed. I was tired after an eight hour drive. I used the pool and sauna, but unfortunately the jacuzzi and steam room were out of order. We went for a meal as it was included in the room rate. The menu available was severely reduced. The Breakfast /lunch bar menu plus a couple of specials. The service was very slow I think they forgot we were there. Food was ok, but I think the main course had sat out for a while. We went back to the room, and listened to the wedding disco until it finished at midnight.

Booked a double room, when we went to the room it was two single beds! Reception changed us to another room and the lights weren’t working, by this time I had had enough of running up and down the stairs (with pneumonia)!

The heating wasn't working & the tiles on the bathroom floor was loose. The shower screen leaked and horrible sealant around bath & shower was dirty & coming away. Staff were good.

Clean room

Good Evening I stayed at your hotel on sat 6th Dec., I checked in and the receptionist told me my room had been upgraded , It's smelt damp and musky outside the room , when we opened the door it was worse, We got in the room and the wall paper looked liked it had been patched up , along with stains on the walls.There was an empty beer bottle in one of the cupboard the carpet was thread bare in places .When I went in the bathroom all the bathroom
