Overnight Business Trip. Nice staff, well appointed rooms , very standard Mecure hotel. Breakfast OK , big clean dinning area but lighting was a little dim and decor is bland as can be. Good OK but limited choices. Overall meets your needs very satisfactorily but no “Wow” anywhere.

Staff were very friendly and the hotel room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Just a one night business stay so didn’t use many of the on-site facilities. Unfortunately big let down was I had a terrible night’s sleep due to noise from other rooms and what felt like paper thin walls - maybe provide earplugs for guests? Otherwise a perfectly nice hotel with good links to the city

Parking was a joke, there was a conference on in the hotel and clearly not sufficient parking for guests.

Overall a great stay for what we needed. We needed to check in early so that we could get ready for an event, we were not able to arrange this at the point of booking or in advance it was left as a gamble on the day. Our room was ready and the charge was £20 per hour, which felt like A LOT. Ultimately we needed to do it but it would make me think twice about choosing mercure again over a hotel with an earlier check in time.
