The Room was spotless, Mercure were accommodating as it was my wedding day and receptionist on both days I was there with my partner . I would recommend 100%. Thank you Mercure Northampton !!!

Staff was courteous

Good location for the town centre. Plenty of parking. Keep an eye out for the bus only lanes though!

I paid for my breakfast. It was good though the fried eggs were hard. The bar manager was excellent, very helpful and courteous. Bar prices ridiculous. Room very good indeed. Clean, comfortable and well appointed.

Spotless room

This overnight stay was better than expected. It’s in a walkable area with bus and shopping nearby. Nothing but praise for every staff member.

Very clean and perfect for getting in to town. Only takes a couple of minutes.

Great central location for a visit to Northampton with good parking on site.

The rooms are ok. Clean and basic. Soaps and shampoos are good. The elevators are slow, problematic and the key cards are not working properly. Breakfast is basic. The team throughout the hotel are very good and helpful.

Lovely comfy beds super shower really close to town and shops the Market Square has been revamped since we were last in Northampton and promises future events

Great location which is convenient for Franklin's Gardens, the train and bus stations and the town centre. Unfortunately it is directly opposite a park area which seems to attract a fair few dodgy characters and this is the same for the walk into town. The rooms are clean and modern (duvets and pillows aren't great but what you'd expect at this price point). The bar could do with having someone present to serve behind it on a more regular basis. Breakfast is very good for a buffet with the bacon some of the best I've had. Staff polite and friendly. Our biggest issue during our stay was due to the fact that we had a room overlooking the entrance to the hotel. Being woken at approx 2am by a car full of youths who parked outside, inhaled laughing gas and talked loudly for about an hour wasn't great. I'd have expected them to be moved on but maybe there was no one there to move them on as the reception phone went unanswered.

Good Hotel

Was provided with little information upon arrival, ie WI FI, floor number. The room was dimly lit and the waste bin in bathroom needed a wipe. Breakfast was ok but cold and the pastries had been hanging around too long. Otherwise, comfortable and the staff were pleasant enough

Very warm welcome from the staff on reception. However; the last night was very hectic with a party that was happening late into the evening and didn't stop until 0100 which disturbed our night sleep. It was very noisy and our room kept shaking from the music that would be heard on floor 3. The shower hook on the the glass, shower curtain was loose, and the light fittings were needing to be pushed up. Also, there was lack of lighting in a room that was a decent size.
