Great hotel perfect spot parking also stayed many times

This hotel is conveniently located with ample car parking. The staff were very friendly and inviting. The hotel is old but well maintained. The room and bathroom are clean but reasonable basic. Tv struggled to pick up any channels. Also there was no fesilitie

Didnt have breakfast so can't comment. My stay was fabulous in every respect. Had a meal in restaurant yesterday. It was well presented, fairly priced and delicious.

Great staff. Clean room. Easy parking

Breakfast was good, nice enough selection. Bed was not very comfortable and this caused a struggle to sleep well. Room was cold at times and heater did not seem to heat the room or bathroom well. However, staff were very friendly. Overall for the price it was adequate, however i would not have paid more.

Not sure why you have just asked me to rate the free breakfast - I paid for it extra with my booking. Service overall was very good. Shower tray leaked all over the bathroom floor as it all runs straight out.

We have now stayed 3 times here and each stay previous was excellent, however despite the reasons below we will still use this hotel for our visits to Basingstoke. Prices are always excellent, staff are helpful and friendly the actual building is sound and not hard to get around but this visit was a little different, the bed had no substance to speak of it was wafer thin and later during the night thetv reception was cutting out constantly so we had to use our phones for that couple of hours of entertainment. We did reception on our way out who said we should have come to them and s room change could have been organised, we never thought of this as the first night we went to bed late same on the second also so we didywant yo kick up a fuss, so fair play if we feel it's not right we have been given an option, thanks to reception for letting us know and see you again soon.

Very clean, hotel well positioned for town, buses & trains. Staff very helpful, & courteous especially at breakfast!

clean and comfortable room the staff were very cheerful and polite. the place ideal being close to many bars and restaurants let alone the massive shopping centre

Room was a good size and very clean, staff were very friendly. What I would say is if you don’t like to sleep in a hot room, turn the heated towel rail off immediately. There isn’t a switch as such, in my room there was a breaker switch at low level by the door. Besides that, the hotel is in a great location and plenty of parking.

The room was very spacious and homely, it felt like a lounge only with a double bed. The bed was extremely comfortable and I also appreciated having a bathtub available. There was plenty of storage space for clothers and other items (lots of drawers there). The staff were friendly and welcoming with an easy check-in.
