I have over 30 years of travel experience across different countries and have never encountered a hotel as terrible as this one! The pillows at this hotel are extremely soft, and even though we were provided with four pillows for the two of us, they were so soft that we couldn't sleep well. The room was very cold, and despite setting the temperature higher, it still blew cold air. Eventually, we turned off the air conditioning, but it still felt very cold (the temperature that night was 7 degrees Celsius). Sleeping on the third floor, I couldn't sleep well, so I went downstairs to seek assistance from the staff. I requested additional or replacement pillows and blankets, but the staff member rudely told me that all the pillows were the same, and if we wanted extra pillows and blankets, it would cost £20. I felt very frustrated and disappointed at that moment! I have never encountered a hotel that charges for additional pillows and blankets! Then I asked the staff what could be done about the cold weather and if there was any heating. The staff rudely replied that adjusting the air conditioning temperature was the only option. Oh my God! Although this hotel is conveniently located near the city center, has free parking, and the rooms are large, the rude staff and the extra charges for pillows and blankets are extremely disappointing and infuriating! I would rather pay more to stay somewhere else and never return to this hotel again!

Lovely hotel, nice and clean. Night staff/man wasn’t very friendly at all but the day receptionist was lovely and helpful. It’s a shame the free parking is going to change soon to needing to pay but other than that grand little over night stop.

Everything was okay. Staff are very welcoming. Close to the city centre. Area around the hotel lets it down a little bit. But it's ok. Not sure about the hotel reception area lends itself to an entrance to a call centre I think but the staff are no problem. Good free car park is an advantage. Breakfast bag is ok. Nothing flash but ok.

Enjoyed my stay. Can't complain at the prices.

The place needs a bit of tlc bud for the money sheets are clean bed is good love coming here you can get parked without £17 day surcharge.

Absolutely filthy Bathroom covered in mould Pillows stained Dust and cobwebs everywhere No one on reception in the morning to speak to Told to contact via email Noisy Staff smoking right outside our window Generally dirty and run down . Very disappointed

The room really run down however was clean. The noise from other guests which I know cannot be helped was very loud, woke up in night by another guest trying to get into our room. The TV did not work. For the price it's ok if your staying as part of a nightmare out with friends but you get what you pay for.

Pretty basic, but good value for money. No lift, so some might struggle to upper floors.

DO NOT BOOK HERE! Absolutely disgusting. Drugs, bugs and mold everywhere. They obviously pay for their reviews, I don’t understand how Expedia allows this, it’s dangerous and absolutely appalling.

Rude manager

Carpets dirtys, shower plug hole blocked, mold around shower, toilet roll holder hanging off and the phone didnt work. Staff rude no eye contact no smile no explaining about break fast doors locked in the night so wll need a key to enter

A lovely clean and spacious room with a spotless bathroom. The taxi company recommended by the hotel was excellent — friendly drivers and always on time. Very convenient location for the Utilita Arena area.

Room had a few Isaura that can be solved and bedsheets had some spots as well.

Very clean and very polite staff on arrival and when checking out

Good location for what we needed. Room clean and tidy. Free parking. Only criticism is the TV reception is hopeless. Picture breaking up on all channels. Went completely on ITV+1. Just sound, i.e a big radio!
