Good location and a good price clean and comfortable room

Good value for money

The room itself was ok but too cold for me so i slept in my clothes under the sheets. Bathroom is dated and didnt look entirely clean, so i skipped showering. Breakfast was a grab and go, consisting of croisant, breakfast bar, yoghurt and orange juice. None of these were appetising. The saving grace was that i was able to have tea the bedroom but the only sweetener was white sugar, something i gave up decades ago. Parking was very convenient and safe

Smell all around n inside room. Only dry breakfast packed in paper bag.

Reception did not have rep present for ages after arrival. Waited for ages to get driking glass as none in room. Very noisy until after midnight due to zero insulation in a plasterboarded, shabby room. Shower did not work. Disappointed that Expedia offer such poor facility!

Convenient

The room was clean and had everything you would need other than a bottle opener! The breakfast bags were good. Location was a 15 minute walk from the arena.

I was told there was an electric car charger for customers to use. On check in the lady said I could use it. When I returned later and tried to, the night receptionist was very rude to me and said I could not. I explained to him what I had been told and showed him a picture of the comms but he was rude and adversarial towards me.

Stayed here for two nights, overall the experience was very good! The customer service was great, staff were very friendly and accomodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable, stocked with plenty of coffee and tea making facilities. The value for money was very reasonable as well, this location is perfect for a cheap and cheerful stay, with ample free parking just outside and a close proximity to the city centre and Utilita Arena (our reason for the visit). I also loved that there is a takeaway breakfast provided every morning; a little paper bag with a pastry, breakfast bar, piece of fruit, yoghurt and a fruit juice box. Honestly there were only two negatives to the accomodation, and considering the cost they really weren't a major issue. The first is that the rooms were starting to look a bit rough around the edges, and our bathroom had a hole in the bath, (which was fine because we were only using the shower). The second is only really a situational negative, and it's that the location is up quite a steep incline from the main city centre. So for people wanting to walk, this may be an issue for some. Overall though, a very comfortable location and great value for money, would definitely come again!
