Lovely hotel and staff, all very helpful

Quarto pequeno, quase nada de armário, a tv é menor que um tablet, cama e travesseiros são horríveis, não tem ar condicionado, o vaso sanitário é inclinado, café da manhã é fraco pelo preço, O hotel parece meio antigo, um pouco desleixado, mas a localização é otima localização.

Very walkable with great location

The room is very small even for two people if you have big luggages (not a surprise though as this is AMS). The closet is just enough for a coat and a few clothes. Bathroom is tiny but efficient. I didn’t realize it did not have AC but they do have fans. Even in winter, our room got warm as it faced the sun in the afternoons (and we were lucky enough to have gotten sunny days during our stay). On the plus side, the location is prime, close to the Museumplein tram stop. You will not run out of dining options around the vicinity. Staff was kind and helpful. If you are solo or a couple with just hand luggage and staying only a few days, this is the perfect hotel for you.

This hotel is really well situated in the museum quarter. It's in a safe and relatively peaceful location in for the middle of Amsterdam. The room was comfortable and clean with a lovely hot shower. Breakfast didn't have the widest choice but there was still plenty to chose from and it was of good quality. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Well positioned, well run, friendly

Everything was OK until we woke up with bed bugs bites everywhere! I’m pretty sure the staff knew about this, they should have closed off the rooms affected and understand that cleaning with perfumed soaps really do nothing for getting rid of bedbugs!

Venligt personale, super roomservice, dejlig lounge. Stort plus med døgnåben, personbetjent reception.

Room was good, there was a lot of road noise at night. Water is hard to contain inside the shower because there is not shower door.

Trevlig personal med bra attityd är det stora pluset. I övrigt ett funktionellt hotell med ok rum och frukost. Placeringen är utmärkt.

I had a terrible experience at Hotel Cornelisz. My room had bed bugs, and I ended up with more than 15 bites, which triggered an eczema flare-up and completely disrupted my trip. I had to be moved to another hotel, spend time at a pharmacy, and deal with the stress of cleaning all my belongings. The hotel has refused to take responsibility or offer a refund, despite the room being uninhabitable. Really disappointing and not what I expected — I would not stay here again.
