Very conveniently located, clean and relatively quiet. We were in one of the corner rooms with big windows and it was spacious by most hotel standard

We stayed at the Cornelisz on April 24 and 25. This is a very old, very charming hotel with an elevator...if the narrow winding staircase is challenging for you. The breakfasts were the best of any hotel we've stayed and very reasonably priced. The staff, from reception to kitchen cook, were always helpful and gracious to this only English-speaking couple. Museums, restaurants and shopping were all within a short walk. We can't say enough good things about the wonderful staff and hotel location.

Being on the museum district was an exceptional experience. It was super easy to walk a couple block, hop on a tram, and get anywhere in the central part of Amsterdam. The hotel is on a quiet street and the accomodations were excellent. They had the best bed I slept on my whole time in Europe.

A nice hotel in a great location! So close to all the museums and the beautiful Vondelpark, as well as plenty of shopping and dining options and tram stops. Room was clean and had everything we needed. It was a bit noisy on some nights but not much can be done about that and it didn’t bother us. Would recommend and stay here again!

The staff was wonderful. We arrived with a bouquet of tulips which they put in a vase for us. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and had a wide selection of items. The best scrambled eggs ever. The woman running breakfast was welcoming and we felt like regulars after a day. Breakfast very reasonable and convenient. Location central to the museum quarter, literally around the corner from the Rijksmuseum. Excellent Indonesian restaurant across the street (make reservations).

Overall a good stay with perfect location, minutes walk to the Van Gogh museum and a bunch other museums. Also close to streets of small shops, and restaurants. The only complaint we had was there seemed to be mosquitos or some sort of bugs that bit my husband with 5 big swollen bumps after 1 night stay. Given we went in March when temperature was still chilly, this is very unexpected….

Wonderful hotel in the Musuem Quarter! It’s near the trams and accessible to the bus that goes directly to and from the airport. Very quiet despite being close to so many dining areas and shops. Be mindful of the stairs if you choose to use them as they are steep. However, the stairs are a much quicker option if you’re leaving the hotel during peak hours and the lift is full.

May have bedbugs, arrived home with feet completely bitten over. Out of 3 day stay refrigerator completely didn't work 2 of 3. Weirdly uncomfortable bedding, got "double bed" turned out to be two single beds pushed together with two narrow mattress tops, very hard to sleep on. Generally, it is clear that the hotel tries, staff are very nice, it is generally clean, but it does not succeed.
