its a beautiful hotel

My stay was only overnight and it was a good view. Everyone was very polite and courteous. However checkout was delayed coz we had to call the front desk 3x for the bell service to pickup. I generally dont need bell service but i was carrying a lot. This significantly delayed my checkoit and my next appointment

I’ve been here a few times, other times as guest. This hotel has maintained its elegance, sophistication and great service throughout the years. The facility is a bit dated as is expected from a historical landmark but it does not lack from modern amenities/ upgrades.

I had a wonderful stay in the Manila Hotel - it is an elegant, historic hotel. The lobby looks grand & the staff members are always smiling. My bedroom is large & the bathroom is clean with good amenities. The breakfast buffet is amazing - there are so many selections to choose from. I definitely would stay here again.

Overall it was a great stay at Manila Hotel. The staff was awesome and the Luneta Suite was EXCELLENT! The rooms, bed, pillows, comforter fridge, and A/C really made it a comfortable stay. The only negatives: Outlets in the room need to be replaced because they barely held onto my phone charger. The outlets have been heavily used and a bit worn out. Second negative is the quality of the food ordered through room service. The calamari was a joke. It looked like tips of tiny squid were cooked and heavily breaded the deep fried. I’ve had better calamari at fast food restaurants and street vendors. The pork and chicken adobo was dry and not tasty. It seemed like the adobo was made of leftovers simmered all day. The sinagang was not good and I will leave it at that. The rice, pancit bihon (halal), and halo halo were quite good. The Japanese and Korean food were EXCELLENT. It’s a Filipino hotel, but the Filipino food was substandard compared to the Japanese and Korean food. That doesn’t make sense. The Spa has incredible staff and worth the price of their services offered. Highly recommend it. Again, overall a great hotel with outstanding staff and customer service. I would stay in the Manila Hotel again and recommend it to others.

My stay at the Manila Hotel was excellent. The staff were wonderfully courteous, friendly and made you always feel welcomed. It felt like it’s a home away from home.

The lobby and garden and breakfast buffet are best in Manila. Other things could be vastly improved: * My lover unexpectedly stained the duvet and cover with blood, not realizing she had her period. I brought this to the house-keepers attention and they changed them, not mentioning any charge. Then I got a 6,000p bill at check out. Apparently the house cleaners could not remove the stain, which was absurd for a hotel 100 years old. I had to stand at reception for almost an hour, get a youtube video, call the house-cleaner and get them to watch the video on how to remove blood in 20 minutes for 100p in materials. It literally took two managers and a total of seven staff to make this happen, upon which my bill was reduced from 6,000p to 1,000p. I removed a similar stain at my laundry shop for 200p and it would be far more classy not to mention it and simply train the hotel staff some time in the past 100 years to remove blood from sheets. Then there is the check in: When the curtains were open, the street could look right into my bed because the window went all the way to the floor. So I asked for the room where the window starts 4' off the ground and was instead moved into a separate wing which I had asked not to be moved into. After 20 minutes of waiting around I went along with it, rather than starting all over again. The new room let people from the swimming pool look right into my bed, so they did not even grasp the purpose of the move. Not a 5 star experience.

Air condition should be updated. Hallways are very hot and humid. The first suite I got smells so dusty and air condition was not working well. They were able to accommodate my request for another room right away. All of the staff in Manila Hitel are polite and very helpful. Excellent job.

Only downside is the hotel location. Of course, neighborhoods change after more than 100 years

I really loved my stay at the iconic Manila Hotel. To sit in the lobby for cocktails and dinner while listening to musicians was a lovely experience. They also have a pool area too with an enjoyable pool bar. Room was great. This hotel is in a location where you can walk to the old walled city and fort.

Hotel staff was fantastic! Professional! The restaurant staff weee great specially From Mezzanine lounge Jericson. He was veey helpfull managing and organizing our large party dinner. Kudos to Jericson!!!

The hotel staff are attentive and courteous. The room is a good size and comfy. The room carpet is worn and needs to be replace.

Incredible hotel, incredible staff. The hotel was packed for school graduations, that was not so great.

Staff were excellent & their uniforms looked great. What i don't like was the front lobby was too noisy & crowded. The room was too simple.
