Overall experience was fine. The room has some water leaking from the roof, i think that came from the air conditioner, so the carpet was wet all the time. My room was on the 2nd floor, close to the street, so it's a little noisy during the day time.

There is no Reception, no staff on site. Expedia should've warned me about that as it's a so-called 'self-checkin' ''hotel''. When I got there, minutes after 2 PM on a Sunday, the ''hotel'' door was closed, with printed instructions posted on it how to 'check-in' online. Nobody there from the hotel to help me and others standing puzzled in front of the locked door. Standing on the street, for ~ 15 minutes I had to fill in lengthy online forms through the browser of my cell phone, including taking a picture of my passport, and also paying a city-fee. Even after I completed all forms and I got the codes for entering the hotel and the room, I had to wait until 4 PM for the codes to become active. But then, the codes did not work. - I had to ask for new codes through WhatsApp (the only 'direct' way to communicate with the hotel 'staff' or possibly AI/chat-bots). - The room is very small for the price ~ $150 CAD/night, it barely contains the double bed. All appliances seem inadequate: old A/C, small TV too high up, tiny safe-box already locked (hence useless). - Mold on the shower walls; water leaking around the bathroom sink and dripping down on my feet. Bathroom soap has an unpleasant industrial smell. - First night was very noisy from loud people in other rooms celebrating something. No staff, no security people in the building to tell them to stop the noise. A very overpriced room for an uncomforable stay. - PS. my WhatsApp screenshots were taken in 2 different time zones.

One of the strange things was that this hotel was converted as "smart hotel" few weeks ago. As a "smart" hotel, it let me feel a very stupid guest. No reception, wrong phone numbers, nobody answered in hotels.com, nobody answered in the Hotel WhatsApp until another guest was able to call a secret number, where the person in charge finally sent me the link to register. The whole afternoon I saw people trying to check in having the same challenges ... WOW - nightmare, I waited 90 minutes outside; luckily somebody exited the hotel and I was able to find a chair in the "reception" at least waited while seating

Clean, well maintained hotel near Piata Romana (and the metro). Only issue was that I was not sent my confirmation email prior to check in and so could not do so. As there are no staff at the hotel I had to call them, and to be fair they were very helpful but I feel I shouldn’t have had to call at all. Aside from that it was perfect.

Il punto di forza è la posizione, con le fermate metro M2 e le principali linee bus a pochi passi. Le camere sono confortevoli e abbastanza pulite, mentre i bagni andrebbero aggiornati e arricchiti con qualche set di cortesia in più. La gestione senza reception fisica andrebbe migliorata per agevolare gli ospiti meno interattivi e gli spazi ormai inutilizzati della struttura potrebbero essere arricchiti con qualche distributore automatico ed usati come deposito bagagli automatizzato e come lavanderia a vantaggio del confort dei clienti.

ホテル内にスタッフはおらず、電子キーの番号設定がされずにチェックインできない人がロビーに何名も集まっていた。さらに2泊目は電子キーの番号が変更され、自分の部屋に戻らず、ホテル側とチャットで連絡して事なきを得たが、かなりの時間を費やした。

Camera molto bella e pulita. Il personale non c'è, si entra con codici che vengono inviati on line e la procedura non è semplicissima.

La chauffage n'était pas très fort ce qui est dommage mais je suis restée peu de temps et la température a monter. La chambre était propre et spacieuse, surtout au prix affichée. C'est un peu loin du centre ville, mais il y a plusieur bus qui vont dans cette direction a >5 mins de marche.

I arrived at the hotel around 20:00 local time. I checked in online as required, as they don't have a proper reception. I was given an access key to the building which worked. The door to the room however did not open. I then contacted the hotel over the phone and WhatsApp. But nobody answered. In the lobby I found another three guests with the same problem. Around 22:00 one of the guests could get hold of someone through WhatsApp. My request was answered at 22:20 when I finally received an access code for the room.

The metalic shower enclosure is all rusted and rusted water was leaking on the bathroom tiles. Furniture is dated and very tired. The mattress is a little more than a few bags of foam. I stayed on the top floor (6th floor) and it took 10 minutes to get any hot water in the morning. Expedia continues to list this hotel despite my objections, claiming to have forwarded my remarks and photos to the marketing group - very disappointing.

Hotel needs to be updated and a deep cleaning starting with the entry lobby. Staff is unfriendly and unwilling to accommodate any request from customers. I am surprised that Expedia is endorsing this hotel.

The front desk staff were unwilling to help and looked disinterested while watching things on their phone. The place smells of sewage when you walk in door and out of your room.

I stayed at this hotel for four nights during a solo trip to Bucharest. The best part is the location: right by Piata Romana, a major transport hub with many bus lines and even the hop-on/hop-off stop. Despite the traffic outside, the room was quiet, and it was easy to get around the city. My single room matched the photos, was clean and tidy, and the bed was fine. Room size was okay for one person, though the TV did not work. Facilities are very limited. The lobby feels outdated, and reception is on the first landing with only a few chairs and tables. There are no common areas or activities, so I would not recommend it for families. For a short stay as a solo traveler or couple, it can be sufficient. Staff were polite but service was average. When towels were missing, I was told none were available until the next day, with no apology. When I asked for an iron (listed as available), I was simply told they did not have one. Breakfast was not served at the hotel since the restaurant was closed. Instead, it was provided at a small café down the street. The selection was simple (mainly bread and eggs) but fine for a light start. On my departure morning, I found an elderly couple sleeping in the lobby, which left a strange impression but didn’t affect my stay. Overall, this hotel is fine if you just need a clean room in a great location. Solo travelers or couples will manage well, but families or anyone expecting more comfort and service should look elsewhere.
