Hampton by Hilton Edinburgh West End

While I appreciate Edinburgh was busy due to a big music concert, the marathon and it being a English Bank Holiday weekend, the hotel were clearly charging a premium which wasn't deserved! For the price, I've experienced significantly better accommodation throughput the world. Some of the opportunities : - poor water pressure in the shower - washbasin was cracked - headboard was tatty and deteriorated - brown stains on the net window curtains - no complimentary bathroom extras Thanks for taking time to review my concerns

The front desk was friendly and professional.Rooms comfortable and spotless. Breakfast buffet was exceptional.

Comfortable with good air conditioning which was much appreciated during the warm weather, and pretty convenient for Haymarket station. Friendly, helpful staff.

Bed good spacious room bright

The staff when we first arrived was very abrupt, i paid for parking at the hotel which i had not been informed about, i was given no option other than to pay by card. They were not polite about this at all. I did not use the restaurant or bar because of this reason, breakfast was ok. Staff should be trained on how they communicate to guests arriving.

Nice hotel with great breakfast. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The location is not the best. It is a bit out of the way.

Nice breakfast. TV didn’t work which wasn’t great for a rainy stay

We were upgraded and given free drinks vouchers when the air con in our room didn’t work. However, the mattress was so firm that it felt like sleeping on a brick and we were really uncomfortable.

The property was walking distance to a lot of attractions which was great. Staff was helpful and kind. Though parking was limited we were able to get a spot which was great. The room was a little run down. The bed was rock hard and you could feel the springs in the mattress. There was no mini fridge and the carpet was buckling and very stained. For over 300 dollars a night it was disappointing.

Room was too warm, toilet has no exhaust fun, airconditioning seems to be set on limited time, but didnt bother to inform services, 2 of us didn’t sleep well, pillows gets too flat
