Room needs modernisation

Comfortable room

Really disappointed with our stay. Was put in a room with no view, except for a roof and air vents. The TV didn’t work at all, said no signal. Air conditioning didn’t work properly during the night which made the room uncomfortably hot but started to work in the morning which was strange? The room given was an adjoining room which we could hear the people next door very clearly which made us feel uncomfortable to cough or make noise etc. i doubt the hotel was at capacity so unsure why you put people in these rooms right next to each other. No buffet breakfast as advertised and had to select from menu which was not explained when breakfast was booked at check in. I have been to this hotel in the past and it was fine, this visit was very different.

Resaltar que el personal fue muy amable. Ahora bien el estado de los baños era horrible. Suciedad, humedades,pelusas de polvo, toallas que hacían dudar de que estuvieran limpias. Una dejadez total. No lo recomiendo.

Check in and out online were both faultless. Room was clean and kept that way during our stay. Friendly staff and good selection of food for breakfast. Nice bar area for drinks, coffee and meals.

Hotel was nice particularly in lobby. I felt rooms were in need of an upgrade. Limited plugs & bed was tiny. Would t even say a full Double. No full light just 4 lamps. Wouldn’t stay again.

Great hotel but the cooked breakfast left a great deal to be desired . Warm sausages . Hard dusted potatoes and black in places . However, the service was brilliant and staff lovely .

Ok room. A bit old, but clean. Bed was a bit hard on my back.

Excellent location for shopping and socialising

Leonardo Hotel in Aberdeen, a supposed 4-star establishment, provided an awful two-night stay for a family of 2 adults and 3 kids who had requested two interlinked rooms two months in advance. When we went to get our room keys from reception, we found out that no one had read our message asking for interlinked rooms, and the only ones available were on the 3rd floor with a double bed and on the 4th floor with two beds, splitting our family by two floors. The room on the 3rd floor was the worst, noise and cleanliness-wise. It was right across from the stairs and elevators, so we heard people coming back from nights out at all hours, which kept waking us up. Plus, there was only one double bed for one adult and two kids. When I called reception to ask how three of us were supposed to sleep in one double bed, their response was basically, "How were we supposed to know?" from both the reception staff and later the manager. It was pretty easy to know, actually, because the room was booked for one adult and two kids, as my booking clearly showed. If the staff had done their job right, they would've seen there were three of us. So, we ended up with an extra folding bed that looked awful and had a terrible mattress for someone to sleep on for two nights. The WC was unsanitary, with urine-stained walls, a dusty toilet paper holder, moldy shower fixtures, dirty taps, stained shower curtains, and a filthy hand wash dispenser. Great location. Hotel is bit dated and could do with an upgrade. Small tv in the room and not wall mounted. Not enough plug sockets for charging devices and no USB sockets. Staff very helpful and friendly

Lighting in the room is terrible. No desk lamp making work difficult, lamps by bed tiny nightlights and insufficient for reading, main room light is in the landing area between main door and bathroom.
