We recently stayed at CitizenM Zürich and overall had a good experience, with a few important points to note. The room was very clean and refreshed daily, which we appreciated. However, the room design was not very functional — particularly the placement of the bed against the wall, which made it difficult for two people to get in and out easily. Another downside was the lack of a coffee machine in the room. This made it inconvenient in the mornings, as we had to go down to the reception area to grab coffee or water. While coffee was included with our prepaid breakfast, it was only available until 11 a.m., which limited flexibility. On a positive note, the hotel’s location is excellent — close to the main train station and within walking distance to many of Zürich’s key attractions. Overall, CitizenM Zürich offers a clean and conveniently located stay, but there are a few design and amenity improvements that could make it even better.

Rooms are on the smaller side. Pillows are quite high. Check in and check out was very smooth. Boutique hotel in good location.

Centrally located hotel with excellent breakfast daily. Staff were attentive. Tram stop was right across the street and Zurich HB train station was a brisk 10 minute walk.

Neat hotel with everything you need, close to the train station and walking distance to old Zurich and the Lake. Don’t try walking from the train station with two ski bags and suitcases, your wife will be angry at you.

Amazing location and an awesome property over all

We travel around the world so we have a pretty good idea of what an acceptable room should be.These rooms were about as big as I imagine was the lowest class room on the Titanic. The bed was landlocked against the window so the person sleeping on that side had to crawl over the other person if they wanted to get up during the night. So, we switched the direction of the pillows & sheets which meant you had to crawl out like a crab to get out of the bed. I had seen a photo online 3 days before of this so called the hotel to ask about it. I was told by the hotel that it was a “modular hotel” & the bed could be moved out from that position. Well, that wasn’t true. If they had been honest I could have cancelled the room without penalty. The toilet area was smaller than on an airplane. The sink was outside the toilet area. If you think I am making this up go ahead & stay there. There is no front desk just someone standing out in the lobby with a computer. They are only there once in awhile. The upside was there was a great Irish pub across the street. Will never stay or recommend this hotel to anyone EVER.

Excellent, comfortable place to stay while skiing in the Alps!

Rooms a little small but the beds were so comfortable. Staff is amazing very insightful amd helpful

Clean, modern facility! No issues and would definitely stay here again in the future. Great value!

This hotel is well located about 10 minutes walk from train station. Room is not very big but very clean with nice decor. Staff were friendly and very helpful.
