The hotel is very comfortable, this is my first experience in Switzerland, I immediately chose this hotel and it turns out the location is quite close to everywhere, so it makes it easy for me to visit the places I really want to visit. The facilities are very good, the staff are friendly and very good-looking, the food is delicious, but because my stomach is full of rice, I didn't eat too much. My stay at CitizenM Zurich was outstanding from start to finish. The hotel is modern, stylish, spotless, and in a fantastic location, making it easy to explore the city. What truly made this stay exceptional, however, was the staff. Every single team member I interacted with was incredibly welcoming, professional, and genuinely friendly. They always greeted guests with a smile, were happy to answer questions, and went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable throughout my stay. Their positive attitude and attention to detail created such a warm and inviting atmosphere that it felt like being welcomed by friends rather than checking into a hotel. The rooms are smartly designed, the bed is extremely comfortable, and the technology throughout the hotel is intuitive and fun to use. Combined with the exceptional customer service, CitizenM Zurich offers a memorable experience that exceeds expectations. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zurich. Adorable hotel in Zurich. Close to trams and walking distance from the train station Rooms were very clean, and staff was very helpful. Breakfast was worth the extra penny…so fresh and delicious. Only negative thing was the club music that lasted for hours. Other than that, I would stay here again.

From check in to check out the staff, facilities, amenities and location were excellent. Friendliness was the main theme. Each and every staff member was happy, gracious and enthusiastic about ensuring our stay was a success. Breakfast and dinner were great and the servers were top notch. Bar was fun with soccer matches on the TV. 5 star example of Swiss Efficiency and Hospitality. Happy Cows were an added bonus.

The room was modern, clean and well maintained. The bathroom area was somewhat disjointed and small. The modern way the facility was maintained with pads to request service and housekeeping did not work. When we requested our room to be made up and towels exchanged it did not happen, yet the computer showed we did request it. I'm not sure if it was electronic request or human error. The hotel was conveniently located a mere 5-10 minute walking distance from the train station and old town with lots of eating options. Zurich is not a town for the budget minded traveler unless you are willing to eat fast food.

Being in the heart of Zurich near “old town” made it great. Great for walking, dining and tourism. The rooms are small but laid out well and with the big open lounging area’s down stairs it wasnt an issue at all.

I mostly used this as a place to sleep but it seemed like a good place to also work if one needed. So my four star ratings are really only because I didn't have too much interaction with staff or amenities. The hotel is well located with plenty of things to walk to and a tram line right on the street. The only thing I would warn is that with a heavy bag it is something of a long walk to Zurich HB station. Of course if you want to do the tram system you can, but there is not a direct connection. This was the only inconvenience I found. That said, the walk is 10-15 minutes so if you are fit it is totally fine, and actually it is pleasant to walk along the Sihl River. The rooms are really cool and I rate it as one of the best I've stayed in recently, comfortable bed and the night shutters make it dark dark even in the middle of the day if you are the type that likes sleeping in darkness only. Really great! That said, once again, if you are a specific type of person that is a technophobe I would probably avoid. I'm sure you can interact with a clerk or concierge like any hotel if you seek that out but you need to seek it out. Everything is self-serve (including check-in/out) if you choose that. (there are people available to help, just to be clear, but you don't need to interact with anyone).
