A nice little hotel in the old town, conveniently close to the central railway station. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and not only is there access to free hot drinks, as usual in a hotel, but free water and Coke, too.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this lovely hotel in its perfect location. The staff were so helpful and breakfast was very good. The only downside is the noise at night coming from local bars but that is the price you pay for a city centre location and absolutely no fault of the hotel.

Always fabulous. Friendly staff amazing breakfast and nice to have water and coke at our discretion. A fabulous experience every time. 11/10 Thank you.

Located in the historic district, with lots of shops and restaurants. Their restaurant was excellent.

Great location!

good location in the old city, so close to Grossmunster, Kunsthaus Musuem and many restaurants and shops. The main train station is a few minutes' walk away. The room we had was a bit cramped but we had a lot of luggage. Also, as an older hotel, have to expect some limits on space. The front door of the hotel is up a narrow street which taxis or Uber may not be able to access easily, so we had to move our bags up a cobblestone street. On checkout, a very helpful hotel staff member helped to move our bags to the pick-up point on the main street, which we appreciated very much. The area can be busy but it's not very noisy in the room.

The hostess was quite impolite to us and other guests. Visiting for the first time in Switzerland. I originally wondered if it was just a cultural difference but clearly that was not the case as

The review doesn’t reflect the property itself. There was very loud construction going on right outside our window starting at 7:00 AM. They should not be selling that room while the construction is going on.

Hotel Alder was amazing. The little details - like free water and sodas in the lobby, candies for the kids, restaurant on site, coffee maker in the room. Wonderful staff. Everything was easy and well thought of. Nice room for our family of 4 staying over for a few days before we went south.

Beautiful hotel, friendly and helpful team, free waters and soda, delicious restaurant on site, great breakfast with lox, in the heart of Zurich. Loved our room with a lucent mural. Would stay here again!

This is just s great hotel at the right price. I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Adler. It is close to everything, super clean, and the staff is welcoming.
