We stay in Luzern for 2 nights with sea view room, the room’s view is great and there’s the free coffee machine for us to grab a coffee and relax the whole afternoon. Me and my family enjoyed the room a lot. Be reminded that the room without air-conditioner, a stuffy room and a bit hot, need to use fan and open all window in case to let the wind come in. The welcome drink is great too, we enjoy much in the bar, a good memory in Luzern

Room is bit disappointing. Quite small penthouse and no air-conditioning is a big problem especially in hot summer days. Slightly below expectation especially given it's relatively high ranking in Tripadvisors

位置很棒，外面景色很美，就是房间确实是有点简陋啦，没有护发素也没有牙刷牙膏…没有空调只有暖气和风扇，虽然这个温度也足够的啦但是关上门窗还是会有些闷闷的emmmm不过下面的餐厅是很不错的，牛肉很嫩，甜品超棒，就在河旁边，整体感觉非常棒

酒店本身是非常不错的酒店，但是我们的房间在楼梯处且非常小，不知道是不是和选择的房型有关系？房间的设施不错，洗浴用品是欧苏丹。入住赠送的欢迎饮料在餐厅，晚上去喝杯酒感觉特别棒。

近車站，位處舊城區，到各個景點都很方便。職員友善。向河的房間早上可以餵雀（我見到其他客人餵）一大群雀鳥在露台外盤旋，又係一個好節目。

下次还会来此居住的

不愧是韩国花样爷爷推荐的酒店，几乎找不到不满意的地方，酒店位于卡佩尔桥旁，景色绝佳，楼下就是有名的餐厅，是这次欧洲之行最喜欢的酒店。

我們是自助式的旅行者，所以有租了一輛車。飯店位於舊城區的徒步區，所以車輛進入有受到限制。不過飯店裡提供代客泊車的服務算是相當方便。整體來說琉森這家飯店是相當舒適且高級、地點也數一數二的好地方。希望下次再到琉森的時候也是住這間！

Very good location, located in the old town, facing Kapel bridge and the beautiful Reuss river. Very professional staff, very neat and clean hotel room.

The location cannot be better:(just on the riverside, and close to old town area). All the staff are friendly, and it's so warm that our room was upgraded to river-view one. The pity is that our room is small relatively, compared with others. The breakfast is a little expensive; however, delicious and plentiful. This is a must-visit hotel in Luzern, and will be the first priority when we visit there next time

Great staff and professional

Room was great. Large, had a TV, mini mini fridge, bath or shower tub. Food was great. Breakfast is $35 for hotel guests. That includes the buffet and the warm meals. To be honest the $20 in warm food is bettee spent than the $35. Water go buy at the local co op down the street. Hotel was great at booking activities for us. Only complaint I have is the staff in the restaurant. And clearly it was a big enough one for me to give it 3 out of 5 stars. Really the only part of our 13 day trip that was upset about.

Room was spotless, amenities amazing. Staff helpful. Beautiful view. Excellent food.

If i would have to describe a perfect hotel stay it will be Hotel Des Balances. We came with a car, and we were so pleasantly surprised that we literally drove through the old city, it feels like you are living in the center of the best place in the city. the staff was super friendly, and the hotel was the most perfect place we ever been to. it's like somebody combed every inch and every experience a visitor will have and asked him/her self - how can this be perfect. I mean perfect room, amazing bar with a view of the river, beautiful vistas from the rooms, walkable to literally anywhere in 3 min or less. We saw tourist tour stop in front of the hotel and talk about the building. We've been to Lucerne 4 times already (from California) and this is from now on our number 1 place.
