Nice boutique hotel, fantastic service. Convenient location. However, the shower seemed to attract mosquitoes possibly due to not draining/drying. I had to swat at least one per day, usually emerging when I turned on the shower faucet.

The hotel has good artistic taste, convenient transportation, and the surroundings are quiet and safe. The room is comfortable and elegant, with modern amenities. It would be even better if there were two chairs in the room.

The highlights of the hotel is definitely the the high quality of the accommodations with the sleeping area and bathroom being excellent. Note there is no place to sit other than on the bed and a small desk chair. Negatives are the rather bland breakfast buffet and the lack of restaurants near the hotel.

The hotel front doors are very heavy and hard to open especially when guests arrives with luggage(s), plus there isn’t any staff to offer any assistance ( may be it’s a small hotel, there’s no bellman available). The room was clean. The shower was not working well as nice as it looks. The front desk and the cafe (where served breakfast) staffs weren’t as friendly and polite as they should. This is my third time stayed there, my impression is the spirit of the hotel staffs aren’t warmed as it used to be.

The location and condition of the property were great. In a great neighborhood, close to metro, sights and restaurants. But the service really set the hotel apart. Everyone, everyday provided the best service. They took the extra step graciously and with a smile.

Excellent service and property location

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, close to Taipei 101, close to MRT Station. Free refreshments (water, tea, carbonated beverages). Convenient bedside access to room and bathroom lighting. Wonderful stay! Definitely will return.

Rooms are clean, staffs are nice and friendly. Will definitely stay here again.

Cool and eclectic hotel

First trip to Taipei. Good location. 17 min walk to Taipei 101. Uber to some places, MRT to others. Hotel was luxury boutique with extremely modern technology. Quirky decor in lobby, but I liked it. Great service. Mattress excellent, would stay here again. I extended for 8 nights

Beyond my expectations. Will recommend to my relatives and friends.

Good location and great service

Well organized and descent room. Sometimes TV has no volume, though it matters only when you watch TV. It takes ten minutes room MRT to the hotel on foot, though there’s many alternative options such as taxi and public transportation.

We enjoyed our stay. Yes, the Hotel Eclat is definitely eclectic. The sculptures at the front of the hotel and in the lobby are a curiosity. The rooms are quite nice. There is extra attention to detail in the cabinetry and lighting. And some high tech as well, with the TV, sound system and TOTO toilet. There were a couple of features that were interesting elements of design but could have been more practical. There was no shower door, so we had to be vigilant to not allow water to splash into the bathroom. And the clock … just a little hard to tell the time! We found the staff at the front desk and in the lobby to be excellent. They are definitely pleasant and accommodating to our needs.
