Unfortunately we were left disappointed, The photos are not a true reflection of the property, The room that we had was not clean, the lounge was broken, the kitchen stove / oven hadn't been cleaned for some time, the shower screen was broken, the toilet seat was not even attached and looking at the pool the bottom was green with slime and sludge. I am not even sure the price for overnight accommodation is reflected correctly. The towels that were provided were clean and the sheets on the bed were clean.

The bedside lighting did not work and the aircon shut down within seconds of being switched on. On reporting it to reception my wife received a brash response of "how can you report this 5 minutes before my shift is finishing - I do not have time to call an electrician". We asked for a new room, but were told that all were occupied only to be handed a key at 7.30 the next morning for us to move into a perfectly clean unoccupied room by the lady on duty.

The words cozy and dingy both apply. A double bed and 2 singles squeezed into a small space with just enough distance to walk around. Old wooden side table drawers without runners you struggled to open and close. Stains on the bed covers but the sheets were clean and the beds were comfy. Tiny bathroom like the ensuite you get in a 1960s home, small vanity toilet and shower. Shower was old, discoloured in places with a sliding door that was no longer connected to each panel so there was always a gap when it was ‘closed’. Coffee and tea amenities provided we didn’t use, packaged soap bars and some tiny tubes of shampoo and conditioner. Heater worked well, a split system. Brick interior walls and minimal lighting so one side of the room was very dark with no lighting (the area with the cupboard and suitcase storage of all places). Think I overpaid for what we got, fine to sleep a night but not a room you want to spend time in.

Good price, good location, clean & comfy bed. Recommended.

Disappointing experience

Location is good next to KFC, so a quick meal is easy and there is Aldi just behind the motel. A short drive and you are in the centre of the city. But the room is basic with standard coffee and tea provided. However, the bed is not as good and we can feel the bed springs on some part of the mattress. For us it was a one night stop on a road trip so it was fine for the price.

Accomodation ok, but sofa in room was not so clean very grubby, it was a turn off.

Room was fine....The pool was disgusting!...Stayed for 6 nights looking forward to a dip in the pool as it was a week of above 40°c....The pool had a green tinge & bottom of the pool was yellow..too afraid to swim in case we got sick...extremely disappointed...

The bathroom needs to be totally renovated. The towel rails fell off the first time we took a towel off. I reported it the following morning and still hadn’t been repaired one our exit 3 days later. The plastic hand basin had cracks in it and a hole. The tap swiveled around when it shouldn’t. I couldn’t reach the rail in the closet to hang up my things. The daily service was basically just empty the bins. The pool needs a thorough clean. It dirt everywhere in it.

Pool looked great in the photos, however, it was not cleaned properly and had water boatmen fly and backswimmers doing laps. The algal bloom on the bottom had attempted to be cleaned but was no where near effective. On a 38 degree day, it was very disappointing to not be able to use the pool. The hotel room was outdated and grimy. Dirty marks on the walls. Old pepperoni stick on one of the bed heads. Stains on the towels. Bathroom basin cracked and the towel rack fell off from a slight bump. We weren't brave enough to use the shower. Quite noisy from the road traffic. The one positive was the air conditioning was new and working really well. Bed linen was fresh.
