Great staff and great location

Perfect location, helpful staff. Room was spacious, beds and pillows really comfortable - exactly what you expect from a Hilton property. Vines restaurant was outstanding - especially enjoyed the cocktails. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the cleanliness of the balcony and the air conditioning dripped water resulting in the whole room feeling wet and smelling damp.

Nice and warm welcome by the staff. The room was in good condition and came with adequate amenities. Certainly one of the nicest hotels in cairns when it comes to value. Would stay here again

All of the staff were very kind and helpful. However, there were a few issues during our stay. I booked two rooms, and only I developed small itchy bumps on the tops of my feet that looked like insect bites. The other person staying in the same room had no symptoms, so I wondered if there might have been insects in the room slippers. The next morning, we also found many ants near the TV in the other room. Since the hotel is located in a nature-rich area, it may be unavoidable, but it was still unpleasant. There was no bottled water provided in the room. The staff explained that the tap water was drinkable, or that we could go to the gym to fill up drinking water. We arrived late at night, and there were no convenience stores nearby, which made things a bit inconvenient. Because this is a Hilton-affiliated hotel, I had higher expectations, so unfortunately our stay was a little disappointing.

I absolutely loved my stay here! The staff were so helpful, my room was super clean and spacious and the location was perfect! 10/10

The room does not have a toaster, microwave or a sink. They do not even provide drinking water in a jug. They wanted me to bring my food down to reception/lobby and they will not allow me to use their microwave but heat my food without washing hands. Absolutely unacceptable to me as a doctor. Use any other option but Doubletree Hilton.

Clean hotel, great free breakfast and beautiful atrium

Great location and well-maintained

The day of the 15th, when the room was serviced, a few things were not done. I had to request tea bags, hand towels, etc. For a Hilton Hotel at $260 per night, I was slightly disappointed. Next time I stay in Cairns, I will choose another hotel. Buffet breakfast was excellent

Clean. Great location. Comfy beds. Good breakfast and dinner options. Cookie on arrival! Nice pool and fitness room. Looked after our luggage for two nights while we went on the reef.

The room was extremely clean and fresh. The staff were exceptionally helpful and pleasant. The buffet breakfast offered me what I needed with vegan, gluten-free options and the food was thoroughly delightful. I highly recommend this hotel for your Cairns stays.

A bit of a must y smell and no ventilation in lifts other then that, staff were lovely and was central
