The warm cookie on arrival is the BEST. Room is spotless, bed is comfy, huge balcony and lovely staff. Honestly, everything you'd expect from the Hilton brand.

Always nice. We stayed there the last 3 times we were in Cairns in the last few months. Clean, nice breakfast, friendly professional staff. We feel nice returning to the room after a day out.

The location was great for all of the activities that we had planned and the staff was very nice and welcoming. Unfortunately, our room had a very strong Lysol/ammonia smell when we arrived and it was about midnight after a long day of travel, so we just kept the door open and cracked the window to air it out while we unpacked. It was excessively strong and gave us a headache. The bathroom was also very small and barely had room for the door to swing open and shut unfortunately.

The pool is daily, but the proximity to the Esplanade and lagoon made those options very attractive. I'd recommend the Double Tree to anyone.

The hotel was central to the city centre. Rooms were lovely. Staff were really really friendly and very helpful. Great place to stay would definitely stay there again.

Always feels nice to stay there whenever we visit cairns to service the car or for shopping. Feels nice to return to it after being out and around Cairns for the day. Buffet breakfast always lovely. Pool refreshing. My kids love it. We chose the room without balcony as we have a toddler, so it's safe. We plan to stay there again soon.

Fabulous location near tours, boardwalk, restaurants, and more! Hotel staff was super friendly and helpful. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend

The only concern I have is the shower head would not stay in the shower. The room was clean and tidy. Check in was smooth. The food was beautiful at the Vine Restuarant

Public areas well maintained and clean. Room could have used more cleaning. Bed covering/duvet had obvious stains. Noisy air on system (even with fan turned off in room)

Great stay in a fabulous hotel. Well located for everything and the pool side bar was very relaxing way to finish the day with clients.

Great location on the Esplanade. Breakfast is fantastic. Large room with a king bed and a balcony with two chairs and a small table.

Room was clean and nice however the bathrooms are extremely small. It was difficult to shower with such a low ceiling and small tub area. Staff was very nice and welcoming and housekeeping took good care of the room. Great views from our room and easy to use curtains to block out light for sleeping.

The hotel is centrally located to the esplanade, marina, town. Several good restaurants nearby. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The room was good size but the finishes are dated and finishes needs updating particularly the bathroom which was very small. There was a musty smell in the room which improved when air condition was turned on.

Greta front desk staff, greeted and provided free water bottles and cookies. Even helped load my luggage into the trolley to help.

Clean and great location separated by a small road from the esplanade. Staff was nice. Everything was satisfactory. The rooms are dated and worn out.

My room smelt a little musty when I first entered. Once I turned the air conditioning off it was fine. Other than that the room was great.
