On website everything looks good but when entered the room everything was so old and outdated. The room we got first night did not had heating system slept in cold room, the balcony door handle was broken and cold wind was coming from underneath the door. The next room was good. If people are getting charged for carpark then its the policy there should be a space for car. Overall i do not recommend this hotel for anyone

Nicely appointed, particularly the lobby, restaurant and bar. Ask for a room away from the lifts which are quite noisy- you can hear them shuttling up and down the lift cavity. The lower floors do smell like they may have been smoking floors in a previous life before the renovation. I also found the shower water pressure and temperature underwhelming. I expected greater things having stayed in QT in Newcastle and Sydney. The hotel was quiet affordable but just be prepared your experience in Canberra may not match other experiences at QT hotels.

QT hotels have a great vibe and this one had an awesome bar and lobby. The room itself was dated, ugly and the beds were ridiculously soft. It was a real shame. I would never stay again.

It was a full hotel due to school holidays and I was in the end room next to the service lift and laundry collection point. Not a good start
But the room was lovely (even though there was a building site opposite the hotel). The staff were fantastic and both the bar and restaurant are welcoming for the solo traveller.

Excellent cafe menu and breakfast.
Good location once the city construction detours are factored into travel plans.

We stayed at QT Canberra for a couple of nights. The rooms themselves whilst functional are a little dated and could do with an uplift however were fine overall. The restaurant & lobby were nice and the location of the hotel is convenient for accessing all parts of Canberra & the wider ACT via foot, bike, public transport or car.
