Location

You can't beat the location of this hotel - one block from The Empress Hotel and right near the Inner Harbour. The adjacent Starbucks in the lobby was incredibly convenient for breakfast. The valet parking service was very efficient. We loved the view from the room, if even just a partial view - we could see The Empress Hotel and the water. We would definitely stay here again. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

We had a beautiful room on the 14th floor with views of the water. While the bedroom and bathroom were on the small side, the living area was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed being able to make in room coffee, or fetch coffee from Starbucks on the first floor. The mini fridge was great for water, soda or leftovers for later in the evening. On site pizza restaurant was tasty for a quick bite when we didn’t feel like going out into the city. Staff is the real star here! Incredibly helpful, professional and friendly.

Our stay at the DoubleTree in Victoria, BC, Canada was perhaps one of the most pleasant hotel stays of all of our travels. Without a doubt we would stay there again.

A great location for visiting Victoria. This hotel was clean and the staff were always eager to assit you. Don't skip the breakfast, there is a great choice.

The property represented very good value, the suites were roomy and well appointed and in excellent condition, and the hotel was ideally located approximately 1 block off the inner harbour of Victoria. The staff that we encountered were consistently friendly and helpful. I don't know if the pub / restaurant named Bartholemew's located at the bottom of the hotel was owned or run by the Hilton chain. In any event I would not step foot in it as we encountered mice! To make matters worse the staff we notified said that she was not concerned as this was a regular occurence! Yikes!

Great hotel in walking distance to most things!

I HAD A STANGE BATH ROOM BUT WAS ONLY STAYING TWO NIGHTS AND DID NOT WANT TO MOVE. RM 1406 HAD A SHOWER WITH AN FLOOR THAT WAS THE BATHROOM FLOOR WITH A SHOWER CURTAIN. IT WAS VERY SLIPPERY SINCE THE BATHROOM FLOOR WAS TILE!

This is a beautiful property with an amazing staff. They were all so friendly and helpful. There is no self parking available, only valet. My husband didn’t like that but I had no problem with it at all. The breakfast was delicious. There were ready made options as well as eggs prepared your way. It was close to some restaurants and we were able to walk to most places we wanted to visit.

it was nice but way to costly. we got to the room and it smelt nice no issues everything looked clean until i looked at the bed and it had ALOT of animal hair and some human hair aswell i tried to get most the hair off but it still felt kinda gross there’s also no pool or spa or anything which i found really odd and really sucked i didn’t realize booking that there wasn’t one

First time staying at this particular hotel. Our room was amazing!! Overlooked the harbour and downtown Victoria.

Our room and the property were so clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Fresh baked cookies at check in was great! The on-site restaurant was convenient and the food was delicious.
