Basic room, clean bed

This is absolutely the most deplorable and disgusting hotel I have ever stepped foot in. Everything is broken, old, rusted, filthy, and completely unacceptable. No words can describe how unsuitable these conditions are for any human being to sleep in. I had to leave immediately after arriving because it was that bad. I booked four nights through Expedia for a work trip and spent a significant amount of money, only to walk into horrible living conditions. The photos online look nothing like the actual room. The entire property felt neglected, dirty, and poorly maintained. To make matters worse, the staff were extremely rude, dismissive, and unpleasant to deal with. The woman working nights was especially hostile and made an already terrible experience even worse. Instead of trying to help, they refused to provide any refund despite the unacceptable conditions. Unfortunately, Expedia also refused to issue a refund. This was honestly one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a hotel. I strongly believe Expedia should remove this property from their website because it is completely misleading and unfit for guests. I will also be reporting this hotel to the health department and every appropriate authority responsible for allowing businesses like this to continue operating. (Attached Photos)

I needed the heat on and the room stayed nice and warm. The bed qas quite comfortable and it was in a quiet location near residential apartment buildings.

The photos don’t show the reality. The room I stayed in must be updated. The door locker is not good, I felt unsafe. Staff was okay and I received my refund for the $100 deposit right away.

The room was unwelcoming. Heat wasn't on. Very poor quality workmanship on pretty much everything. Tv was really small. Remote hardly worked. No closet. No pictures or anything to decorate it; make it homey. The bed was comfortable. Close to McMaster. You get what you pay for i guess. The pictures online looked nicer. Buyer beware.

The attitude of the staff and also the cleanliness was not good. The place needs to be updated and some things such as towels changed to new ones.

This is a motel not a hotel or inn. Many long term patrons live here.

This place is a dump and the receptionist asked us to leave the heat off.

My room was spotless. The location was convenient. I would definitely stay here again when I'm in Hamilton.

Great stay overall! Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I really appreciated the free on-site parking and reliable Wi-Fi. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a mini fridge and microwave, which made things very convenient. The bed was super comfortable, and I had a great night’s sleep. The location is also a plus—close to walking trails and plenty of amenities. I would definitely stay here again!

Terrible . You get what u pay for but it was so dirty we ended up leaving and going to a different hotel. Than they tried to accuse us of stealing a towel and charged us 10$ for it mind u we went there got dressed went to a concert came back and left .

I didn’t even stay. Dirty room… ignorant staff. Door didn’t lock and didn’t feel safe. Kept my belongings in my locked car and never even touched the dirty bed. Left after a couple hours and found a different hotel. Horrible experience. Staff acted like I was wrong to wonder why my room door didn’t lock. As two females in a new city coming for an event, our safety was disregarded. I’ll never go near there again.

Bed/ bathroom clean, walls ,ceiling throughout looked dirty and musty,door to room looked like broke into and never fixed moulding around, door didn’t seem very secure knowing main entrance unlocked,if it’s just a bed/ shower your looking for this is it, mouldy mini fridge , and old furniture,

On the first night I found toenail clippings on my covers. My door was left unlocked by the cleaning staff twice. Afterwards I could not trust that my luggage was secure in the room. My dad’s room had damaged on the frame where the door had been kicked in previously.The shower was covered in mold around the sealant. There is also a strange smell in the hallway the whole time I was there. The doors are all very loose in their frames. Everytime someone opens or closes a door, all of the doors bang on their hinges. The staff was very condescending when I checked in as if I was wasting her time. On the last night, there was an individual in the hallway at 11pm yelling on his phone and banging his door. The staff person on duty addressed the person but the individual continued to yell and slam his door claiming “I just worked 15 hours, I don’t want to be quiet.” 30 minutes later he was in the hallways again being disruptive, slamming doors and yelling. This happened again at 1am. Nothing was done. There was no answers at the front desk phone during the second or third incident. Parking was “assigned” my first day but there were people who live at this location using it instead. I would not recommend this hotel at all and regret spending the money for two rooms for the weekend. Was not worth the price.
